I doubt you'll even get enough sign ups to race, if you only give them one week to sign up .

I am planning to organize a league. And I have planned it for about a month. Thinking what car (It alone took a week), what tracks (Still haven't decided), rules (WIP. Probably 50% finished. And I do it daily).

What tristan said is true. You need to THINK before you ACT.

It would probably take several weeks until I can even think about launching my event. And if I do it, I would give alot more time to participate. Week (Without knowledge of race-time) is way too short time (You'll have to arange work-hours, appointments, other stuff).

Erm, no. I have enough trouble fitting in essentials like eating, crapping, drinking and sleeping into my days as it is before adding the preparation and running of a major LFS league (there is no way on earth I'd want to run a second-rate one, or be in a second-rate team like so many people seem happy to do).

Real F1 is well documented, and generally it works. Copy it (rules can be downloaded) and you have yourself the beginnings of a league. Though of course you'd still have to make it work.

It'll take between 2 and 6 months to get a decent F1 league underway. And anyway, isn't there already a BF1 league that's doing alright for itself?

Well... one week, waaaayy toooo short. I'm organising a league, but altough it was a post before thinking about it, i could collect the nessecary rules within the following couple of days. A logo, a strategy for a broadcast, a tracklist, followed weeks, also I got a cooperation with another organisation, a host and til now 21 entries collected from two forums. And I have still one month (okey after my rulebook 3 weeks) time to tweak some things, if needed readjusting the entry requirements and such things. Even if you copy a reallife rulebook, you need to translate it into LFS language.

Organising a league is not like falling in love, or at least, should not be. You have to see real things clearly!
