Hey guys - so I've tried out FreeTrack which is a freeware head-tracking application.

I think the thread was locked for a while and then unlocked again. I believe quite a lot of posts were also deleted back then.

The sensitivity was way too high, so maybe that was the problem. However, it seems to me that it would be enough if I could just turn my head left/right (yaw). I don't need to look up or down to see the roof or my feet, and I don't need to roll my head either. Moving sideways from left to right, and forward/backward can be useful too. So that would be only 3 movements I would have to keep enabled, and it would prevent unwanted in-game movements, as I probably don't sit perfectly still in my chair the whole time.
Just make sure it's not a crappy one, the list of supported cams is on their site
The VX-1000 would have worked just as well, I'm sure.
Strange logic.

Of course, you do need a webcam, so if you don't have one yet you'll have to buy one like I did.
). What webcam have you bought for it? Not all webcams on TrackIr website are that good available.
