Hi. Racing is coming again this year to Vila Real, Portugal!! my home town and probably the best circuit in Portugal
In the old days the best racers raced in Vila Real, like Sir Stirling Moss. Then in the 90's a crash ended with spectators death and the circuit closing
In 2007 the racing came back for the pleasure of racing fanatics and Vila Real people. This year we have more (only nacional cups) and hoping for international racing in future!

From the same source McLaren M6B onborad footage 6min makes me drool camera mounted behind the engine for best sound and you can see throttle body so can see how gentle he has to be most times...

I just wanted to link to an awesome racing video with the "Getrag BMW Z4 Coupe V8" at the Nordschleife. One full midrace lap, onboard, always behind one of his opponents through all the (lower class) traffic.
9 minutes pure racing.
It's a stream video in good quality.

At renn.tv go to the "Video Download" section. There are YouTube links and "Download in besserer Qualität" (= download in better quality) links.
When you click on the 2nd link you come to a site where you have to write your e-mail adress in a field. Click on the button. Then you receive an e-mail with a download link for the hr-video. The link in the e-mail is not completely marked as a hyperlink, make sure you mark the full link and copy/paste it in your browser.
I really recommend the download of the "24h Megamix" video there. It's one lap through the green hell switching through various cars during the 24h '07 race. The sound of the first car (MSpeed Porsche Cayman)when the lights going green is just incredible.

Just another video at the nordschleife. It's a "Taxi drive". A normal person is passenger in a Porsche 996 Cup car with a real racing driver (Dirk Adorf) driving it.

Fantastic! That's got to be a hell of a scary experience I'd like to think I'd be all cool about it but I'm sure I'd be crapping myself

Near the end of the 'Taxi Drive' video was funny. His facial expression were priceless, looked like he was about to cry when they braked hard at the end of the fast back straight section.
