For anyone in US it costs around $1700 + shipping + your preferred momo/sparco etc wheel.

For us europeans the price is a little more bearable at aprox. 1100 eur + shipping + vat + duties + etc..

It's probably going to be THE ultimate wheel. I just calculated that a full frex motion system with the hydrobrake pedals and the simwheel with all the addons and shifters the total cost is around 5000 eur + vat + possible duties.

I just need to buy a house first to fit all the stuff

That's a lot of money for a toy steering wheel. If you spent that sort of money just to get beaten by mouse noobs I think that would be a whole new low.

It's not worth it. Not worth it and that's all. If only you need it as Sim devoloper or sim system dev or somtehing like that.

It may not be worth it performance wise but it's more about the immersion and satisfaction you get out of it. Actually I'm even more interested in the hydrobrake since I find the normal "toy" brake pedal is really so far disconnected from the real world. I really like the idea that braking force is measured by pressure and not by the travel distance. Plus you can opt for those halpot potentiometers for that extra resolution and spikefree movement.

And not to sound too much like a fanboy I'd of course would very much want the whole set (or even the wheel), but it's still hard to justify the price with the little time I would use it. But it would be a luxury and oh so fun.... but 7500+ eur (for everything, why go only half way? ) with all the taxes and duty payments it's really hard to justify the price. I wonder if they could export the manufacturing to China while keeping the quality high?

It's a niche product and hence the price and I do like exotics....

Yeah I agree, one explanation could be that the video above isn't connected to a live game. It may just be spinning back as fast as the mechanism allows and on the other videos it's partly controlled by the game's FFB feedback. Or maybe they had to cut corners from the first design to get the pricing down and the result is a slower mechnism

I guess we have to wait for a decent review from the brave early adopters who will cough up the money needed.

Or just for safety reasons I wouldn´t want to break my thumbs on a force feedback wheel that is overkill

I think it´s quite obvious in the GRID demo with only 50 % force feedback that it´s fast enough.

For those that could part with that much money without even blinking, sure it would be fun to have.

Why Would you need 8k? The wheel doesn't cost no where near that or do you mean for the motion, cockpit, pedals, shifter, handbrake etc... Basically all of Frex's products??

Different currencies and for an entire Frex setup would cost slightly over 8k after shipping (150 lbs!)

If you were a Pro Gamer when you get payed to play games it is alright, if I had some money I would proberly but it because you will have something you proberly wouldn't regret buying you may regret the price though

Why? Some people spend a fortune on sex stuff, are they pornstars? People buy million $ sports cars, are they racecar drivers? People spend lots of money on computers to overclock, are they l33t hax0rz? Why do I need to be a Pro gamer to spend a lot of money on some setup, and even in comparison to the cars, computers and sex stuff, this is cheap.

Looks really nice. I think I'd have to try that out before I bought one though, it costs more than my car and bike combined.

I didn't say you had to be a pro gamer, I was just using it as an example thats all.

I think all the fastest guys in LFS use a very low steering rotation anyway. This wheel's for people who want to feel more like they're racing a real car, not for people who want their hardware to give them an advantage.

its a nice wheel, but 2000 usd ( plus a good steering wheel) its so high for me, damm! I think my wife do not can cope with almost 1 month of salary, all the day keeping it just looking nice at my desk...but anyway many congrats to the buyers, Shige is having good request for tis wheel.
