Anyone who hasn't seen this movie should. And if you haven't you should see it without first looking up anything about it - it will be that much better.

This has to be one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Philip Glass works pretty often for soundtracks.

I thought The Illusionist was a pretty piss-poor effort (as a film--Glass's work was fine), but to each his own.

Apples and oranges! I liked the Prestige because of David Bowie & Michael Caine. But it was long, and I didn't find it exactly satisfying...

I'd rather be able to watch the good movie with the good woman, anyway (without her squirming too much & complaining about poor birdies being crushed).

Exactly what I was going to say, I watched this film about a week ago and couldn't remember much about the prestige, so I rewatched it and it was far better imo.

Both films are similar in quite a few ways and they came out at the same time, so it was nice to see some magic competition.
