Looking for a team (Again)
Yes you heard it, I am looking for a team again, most of you wont take a look at me but it's fine because you don't have to post, so what am I looking for?

A team that is here to stay, races leagues, active, helpful and a team that will tell me of my mistakes, and help me progress into a league racer, After what's happened recently I know it's going to be hard to find a team, but it's your decision, if you want more info or to see me drive send me a PM, I mostly drive SS and GTR cars but can also drive the LX Cars aswell as a few others,

Only post if your interested and not here to rant, or like i said, send me a Private Message.

Messy
Good luck finding a new team!

Many of the teams you joined and left had this so I don't understand why you have gone thorugh so many teams.

I do recall that you approached CR about joining saying that you were really interested and that you would love to drive for us etc etc... and we said no, the very next day you were announced as a driver somewhere else.

If I were you, I would seriously consider TAKING YOUR TIME.

Be honest and don't be too quick to jump into bed with someone.

People are too keen to want to put their TAG and team skins on before seriously checking out a team and its members etc etc.

My advise, take your time, don't rush... good things comes to those who wait.... trust me, they do...... but only to people who have patience..

Good luck and consider what I've written

Regards,

Dru.

BTW - your avatar shows you in an Adaptive Skin how many teams was that ago ?

Thanks for the advice Dru, that was a while back when I raced a series.
I will also wish you luck, I agree with dru, it took me months before deciding to join a team to race with, and I was aproached by them, posting a thread isnt how you should be picked up. Have them come to you! They are usally desperate if they are forum hopping to get a driver.

Best of wishes,
Greg
Joining a team isn't the be all and end all but some people are giving the kid a rough time for nothing, and for what? Because he switched a team now and then? Or that he duped Mercury and others with his leet-skeet beginner skills?

I think any team who takes 5 minutes to watch him drive can see he has real potential and just needs a little more work on some minor things, I think any team looking to go for the MoE could probably use this guy and would be lucky to get someone who's willing to commit and has ample talent to make stuff happen.

Matt, my advice would be to take it easy for now and work on your driving a bit more and not worry about this team stuff. Once you're up to spec people will take notice and you won't need to ask for peoples attention, you'll just get it.

Sidenote : Not many people seem to complain about drifters team jumping or teams folding within a week, since when has it been such an issue with drivers?

P.S : He got into Mercury didn't he?

Thanks Rooble for the kind words, I have taken your advice, I am just going to drive as usual and see what happens, if i don't get an offer from a team I want to join then it's not the end of the world, but if a team feels they would like me to join their team then I have no problem as long as they are willing to help me and i'll help them back.
Good luck finding a team man. You definetly deserve a really good team.

Thanks Mista, it will be hard, but i'll take Roobles advice.

Rooble, if you can say Did he get into Mercury on Driving ability alone or attitude or both potential or just because people were judging him on the person they saw - not the person they know?

It's an interesting observation to note.

Cheers,

Dru.

Agree'd If it took him a new id to go anywhere....What kind of personality must he have? Skill is there, but if that desperate to learn? Whats wrong with that picture?

Turning into a rant thread again, how about you guys who want to rant send me some PM's or just leave me alone?
Perhaps its better for all to just forget about what has happened and give him another shot?

He is more serious now I get from his post so just give him a break

Frost they won't let that happen, they enjoy stuff like this,

I've said i'm sorry countless times, i've paid the price but i guess it isn't enough, i'll still play LFS regardless of what anyone sais.

It was based on what he'd told us and what we could see, limited experience of LFS but experience in GTR2 & Forza2, and what we saw from him in a car we now find is one of the few he sticks to, rather than having just picked it up.
There was definate potential, but from someone who eas inexperienced, and thats what we were looking at. Had he got the miles AMB had im fairly sure we'd have seen that he was running close to his potential, but with a newbie already showing promise, the potential is encouraging.

I wouldnt say he's a crap driver, in the few races i saw he was doing well, and he was getting decent results. But then i dont know much about the people he was racing against, and if thats a combo he frequently drives then what does that say?
Im quick in a UF1 round a few tracks once i remember what im supposed to be doing, and might look half-decent compared to good drivers, but if the good drivers spent a bit of time on there they'd start out-performing me no problem... and I wouldnt touch me with a barge pole

So i dunno really how good he is, because what we saw was based on lies really, as i said, im sure i can look competent/half-decent with a bit of practice.
