I know what you mean about the blue flag thing, on a server one day, i was in an xfg and had just came out of a chicane, quite slowly as it was my first time on that track. I am guessing that the blue flag message comes up when a faster car gets a certian amount of metres away from you. So, i saw the blue flag message, went to look in the mirror so i could see which way i needed to move to let the other car pass.I looked in the mirror, only to be rammed off the track by a very very fast xrg before i had the chance to steer fully out of the way, i was steering towards the grass as best and as quick as i could. I was then given a tirade of abuse such as wtf noob, blue flag means move you pr!ck. i was less than impressed, but i was cheered up again when i saw him buried in the gravel on the next lap, i even gave a as i passed. Haha!

I always thought that Blue Flag meant get Outta the way. Cause if you watch MotoGP and V8 Supercars and Formula 1 They all move out of the way for cars lapping them :S.

Altho I am a drifter so we dont really care for Blue Flags Etc I still thought it meant Move over or pull back lead cars about to lap you.

thats my point, as soon as the blue flag message came up i tried to move, but the guy in the xrg was too impatient and decided to ram me out of the way on the blackwood chicane. I recovered quickly and could have quite easily fired him into the gravel at the end of the long straight but didnt do it because its not worth getting banned for retaliating against an idiot. If he had just gone round me then there wouldnt have been an accident as i was literally trying to get on the grass and out of his way but he just couldnt wait.

When I do the casual race, If its a clan server with their members on I will chat with the members and warn them of what happened. So people are just impatient and just want to win the race because they are leading or 2nd place. Doesnt mean you gotta ram other vehicles out of the way to win

It depends on what blue flag rules the server enforces, but on CTRA at least, the imperetive is for the faster car to move around the slower car, not for the slower car to move out of the way. If you were holding your line and not blocking, then it was entirely the faster driver's fault that he hit you.

Be aware that if the guy crossed over the finishing line, then turned around, drove backwards on the circuit onto incoming traffic and pushed you across the line then he would be banned on a CTRA server. That sort of stuff is 'interfering with people in the race'.... just bear that in mind

Still was a nice gesture to help another racer out :P, Altho as you said he was interfering with the race by driving back on to push another car across the finish line.
