Part 2 of the greatest LFS circuits:

FE Gold - Fern Bay's Gold Circuit

Brake well for the Nurburgring-eqsue deep-grooved right hander...no excuse to get this wrong, although it is much much slower than you think.

Up and over the (zandvoort) chicane at full speed and again to the (zandvoort) chicane as we go downhill to the key turn

The amazing right dipping corner which leads us on to the tram-lines....full throttle with tyres roaring as we slide to the edge of the bridge section to the slippy 2nd (3rd?) gear left-hander.

Be wary of the curbs - they're as slippy as **** - as we negotiate this series of turns (aka Suzuka)...through the right-left full blast chicane and onto the main straight.....and over the line!!!!!

Another incredible lap
It is indeed a great layout, but as with all Fern Bay layouts the cubs are ridiculous, the tram lines need to go and the whole place needs a serious graphical makeover.
I think fern bay is supposed to be more of a 'club' track rather a grand prix circut. Which is why you rarely see leagues like MoE and etc being held there. still, a fun track with a road car

E: agreed, could do with a face lift!
This is what I love about LFS, the circuits although fictional, inspire this great debate among the players.

Of course I would love real tracks or more tracks, but the ones we have, hey, they're not too bad!!!

LFS is the greatest sim out there. Anyone who's driven a FOX around Blackwood knows that's the truth.

get the tarmacers in
All the fernbay tracks are good fun , gold has great camber changes, Club t1 Is one of my favorite corners, such a tactile and satisfying corner especially when you trailbrake it, don't like gold reverse T1 ,mental corner with ever changing kerbs
My favorites are still Blackwood, Kyoto national, Westhill, and Aston Historic ,technical tracks that just feel and look more" real" to me, with corners you can get your teeth into
I always liked FE gold.
You can ride the curbs great if you can

I think it's safe to say that there as far as curbs and other track "dangers" go it could be worse:

More reference material here - not sure if there's any other racetrack there. I think I recall seeing photos of one somewhere online that was in a sandier area.

However, I really could never figure out the tram lines either...
