I have 3dsmax 7 and Brazil r/s 1.2.21.
But, i cannot get a skin on a car, because options are different from those in lfsmanual wiki.
Can anyone who have same versions help me, please.

ROFL,its not the renderer,you need to set it in material,press M for material editor,find body add skin material,and press the lil grey box next to the blue box,press bitmap and select skin,but if its self made scene,then about the same,but u need to apply the skin to the material called deafult or something like that

In manual said that ID 14 is body, but for me, it seems it is not...

there some other ID's just see them, it's different on every car

It is FXO Turbo, and scene is from dS autos.

How i can see what is what?

The material slots are named in the scenes from ds-autos. Look for a slot called [add skin], which will also have a small purple box next to it.

Ok, i maked it with XFG, but now it looks a bit strange. This skin is black/grey, but here is the pic how it looks:

Here mine FXO goes:

You need to edit FX_interior1.dds to get rid of all the white parts.

If you open the dds in Photoshop or whatever program you use, you'll see a little white square with a black outline. Colour in that square a fairly dark grey colour.

BTW, i have illegal brazil but i cant afford it, it costs too much for 13 year old kid :P

you don't need an illegal version of it, because there is a free version, and if i know well it works perfectly with these scenes

Yes, but it still doesnt supports 1920x1080.

There's a trick to get at least 1600x1200 res or high res but it'll need a lil of work from saving file from BMP to JPG in Photoshop and need to configure the brazil server.... Thats what i do from a free Brazil Rio.
