Quote from Shotglass :not hes english his voice

What's wrong with his voice? His voice seems fine to me, the only thing I find a bit unnerving is his moustache.

it sound funny for some reason... beckys mom seems to have picked up on it as well
Quote from Becky Rose :Oh i'm not saying Heidfeld is rubbish, i'm saying he hasn't ever set the world on fire and Kubica has - they got a real star and BMW are busy pandering to Nick because, well that's where my theory falls down - I cant find one logical reason why BMW have taken so much time to work on Nick's problems driving an F1. Send him to a shrink if he's got problems, but ignore your race winning young star who's handing the big guns their arses on a silver plate with sugar encrusted Dolly Mixture topping, and you deserve to lose.

Kubica has been quite blunt about BMW's focus on Nick's problems, and it's a view that has been echoed by that twat I have to listen to screaming and shouting orgasmic come-ons to Hamilton when I watch the race.

BMW are more interested in the constructors championship this year, so it makes sense they would focus on Nick, as he has been struggling with this years car. Robert is already maximising the car and getting the job done, but BMW aren't interested in winning the drivers championship, as their plans are for long term success, which means they need both drivings performing at their maximum.
How things are looking after Friday Practice 2:

FP times don't mean jack, unless they're consistent throughout the weekend.

Ferrari was doing heavy fuel runs in FP2, for example. That's why they're down the table.

Sorry, did I say they meant 'jack'?
Maybe not, but Hamilltun was flying this morning, even Hikky was quick. But i was most impressed with Boreday tbh, he was up with the big boys in 1st practice and well ahead of Vertle.
Quote from Bean0 :The FIA have gone truly mad now...standardised engines and gearboxes from 2010 are looking likely.

Like somebody already said a while ago, those that can afford it will only spend their money somewhere else instead.

Got mixed opinions about that one tbh.

In theory it could actually work, but thewn again it could become just a more expensive version of A1GP.

Mind you the FIA have a long history of suggesting all sorts of hair-brained ideas that never see the light of day. This sort of thing is usually used to stir up the teams to come up with alternative solutions to problems that don't necessarily exist, other than in Berni and Maxi's head.

On a lighter note, i heard that Bernie now wants Max to stay on as Prez for another 10yrs, instead of retiring when he's supposed to (i.e about 3yrs ago)
I think this means it's not one of those plots by FIA, to make up some ridiculous idea to force teams to make some other compromises. It was only last week when Toyota's John Howett said there had been no discussion whatsoever between FIA and FOTA/teams about this. Looks that just changed.

Also which is interesting, at least according to Autosport's perception is that this does not exclude the plan for totally new engine concept 2013-> but will that be standardized too...

Alternatively, it could just be that they're trying to deflect interest away from the recent spate of unfair penalties.
If they suggest some ridiculous regulation changes, maybe the media and fans will forget about the current problems and move on to that... then they can withdraw the new regulations idea and everyone will think they are great

Quote from Mackie The Staggie :
  • Massa finishes with 3 points, but is penalised for looking a bit like Andy Kaufman and told to start 2nd last in Brazil...

Of course, then they would have to give Alonso a penalty for looking like the guy in the ITV F1 intro...

or maybe not... that would be way to consistent

Quote from Mattesa :Murray isn't doing too badly.

keep it on the hush hush, but he's Scottish, so when he loses it's because hes a useless Scot, but if (and a BIG if) he does win a major he will be the bestest ever player to come from Britain.

To be honest I doubt Andy's credentials of being Scottish - sure he sounds Scottish, comes from Dunblane, wears a Saltire cross when ever possible and supports anyone playing against the English footy team (boy that went down well with the English ) but theres one factor, a little one, that to me suggests he ain't Scottish.

He wins

Does anyone have a working stream for qualifying..?
Quote from aoun :Does anyone have a working stream for qualifying..?

The only one that works for me is to watch shanghai sports channel in tvu...it's chinese though :/

Using british proxy makes it possible to watch the itv feed iirc..
Try TVU-player, wheels channel is starting the broadcast in 6 minutes.
Havent found a working ITV-stream for this race yet, all the usual ones just stay black.

Yeh i have TVU, but theres no wheels channel.. il wait.
why the heck is nearly everyone out on track now (especially the Ferrari of Massa). those in the top 6 should be pretty safe to go through to Q2 anyway~?

but well I don't mind Massa burning off extra mile on his engine.
