BMW are more interested in the constructors championship this year, so it makes sense they would focus on Nick, as he has been struggling with this years car. Robert is already maximising the car and getting the job done, but BMW aren't interested in winning the drivers championship, as their plans are for long term success, which means they need both drivings performing at their maximum.
Maybe not, but Hamilltun was flying this morning, even Hikky was quick. But i was most impressed with Boreday tbh, he was up with the big boys in 1st practice and well ahead of Vertle.
In theory it could actually work, but thewn again it could become just a more expensive version of A1GP.
Mind you the FIA have a long history of suggesting all sorts of hair-brained ideas that never see the light of day. This sort of thing is usually used to stir up the teams to come up with alternative solutions to problems that don't necessarily exist, other than in Berni and Maxi's head.
On a lighter note, i heard that Bernie now wants Max to stay on as Prez for another 10yrs, instead of retiring when he's supposed to (i.e about 3yrs ago)
I think this means it's not one of those plots by FIA, to make up some ridiculous idea to force teams to make some other compromises. It was only last week when Toyota's John Howett said there had been no discussion whatsoever between FIA and FOTA/teams about this. Looks that just changed.
Also which is interesting, at least according to Autosport's perception is that this does not exclude the plan for totally new engine concept 2013-> but will that be standardized too...
Alternatively, it could just be that they're trying to deflect interest away from the recent spate of unfair penalties.
If they suggest some ridiculous regulation changes, maybe the media and fans will forget about the current problems and move on to that... then they can withdraw the new regulations idea and everyone will think they are great
keep it on the hush hush, but he's Scottish, so when he loses it's because hes a useless Scot, but if (and a BIG if) he does win a major he will be the bestest ever player to come from Britain.
To be honest I doubt Andy's credentials of being Scottish - sure he sounds Scottish, comes from Dunblane, wears a Saltire cross when ever possible and supports anyone playing against the English footy team (boy that went down well with the English ) but theres one factor, a little one, that to me suggests he ain't Scottish.
Try TVU-player, wheels channel is starting the broadcast in 6 minutes.
Havent found a working ITV-stream for this race yet, all the usual ones just stay black.
why the heck is nearly everyone out on track now (especially the Ferrari of Massa). those in the top 6 should be pretty safe to go through to Q2 anyway~?
but well I don't mind Massa burning off extra mile on his engine.
