congratulations. i only had to get 35 on mine and got 34, so it wasnt that bad. unfortunalty i took 3 times to get through my practical but looking back i wasnt ready for the first 2, but passed with 4 minors one the 3rd.

and a bit of advice, when you do book your practical dont tel anyone who doesnt need to know. less pressure on you so youl not be as nervous.

hi. i dont race as captain slow anyway. infact i dont actually race anymore and lfs isnt even on ym computer cos i never got back o reinstalling it after it got wiped. but have fun. nice to see this thread stil exists.

made a little scene for you. its done in blender with blender render engine but i might see if yafray does a better job

EDIT: uploaded another render of same scene. im not sure whether its made any differenc ethough. take what you like best.

yea thats what im trying to do basicaly. is there anyway of doing it without adobe? because i dont have any of those programs and cant really get hold of them unless there free wich they wont be. lol. and windows movie maker is no good because you cant fit 25 frames into a second.

hello, i have a problem. i have a collection of frames as images, enough for 25fps, but i dnt know how i can make them into a short clip. what iv done was simply used blender to create an animation but all it gives me is each frame numbered in order. can someone possibnly suggest a way to make a clip?

ive tried using windows movie maker but i dont think its working right because i cant seem to get the frames short enough so it looks jumpy. or should i just persevere?

hi ive downloaded some of the materials from that blendermats website, but how can i put them on the lfs cars that wer posted earlier in the thread? if someone can tel me how that woul be good. because i cant do it from what the website tells me.

hi, i didnt post this in the 3d renders section because it had nothing to do with lfs. (before flamers start)

i was wondering if anyone here uses blender and could help me out as im on making a waterfall scene thing, but have no idea on how to make the water. i no for water surfaces you can just make aplain and make it transparent and add texxtures/colours/ etc, but its the actually spray and the falling water im stuck on.

i had a go at making particles the same way as the grass is mae however it looked really rubbish and crap.

if anyone has any suggestions please let me know as you can help me greatly. cheers



EDIT: attached what i have so far. im sure people will agree my attempt at water luks more like blue fur. :S

id probably give blood, (i ticked the organ donor thing on my provisional license application), but unfortunately my mother has porpheria and i havent been tested myself so i probably wouldnt be allowed as neither of my siblings have it so theres a fair chance i might.

sorry to bump thread, but i just wanted an opinion on the headlights.

i am fully aware that the shape needs altering to make them fit into the car properly, but i just want to know if they look ok as in the textures and reflectivity and so on.

any comments welcome.
