I race in them sometimes... not very often anymore.
Reason being is that almost every race, someone decides to wipe me out with no appologies at all.

Once you've unlocked S2, you'll probably find that you wont need mod for quite a while

I'm in favor for mods, though i've not expierienced much of LFS as it is! so it wouldn't really bother me much :P

I've played on that server a few times.. its quite fun when the cops are doing there job.

i don't stick to the speed limit, and always attempt to try and get a police chase, otherwise its boring.. i've noticed some people stick to the 30mph speed limit though!

They are very strickt on driving on the right. If you get caught on the wrong side, instant kick.

I think i blew my engine the other day in the FXO.. it was revving, but not going anywhere! Though i got the speedometor going over 200mph whilst still :P

Im a "gamplay comes first" guy. I do not care for amazing graphics, even though it would be nice, but i would much rather have amazing gamplay.

Updating too DX10 will probably require alot of people to upgrade things, which many people might not have the money to pay for.

Like i said, i disabled it, and the same thing happend. Also, it worked perfectly before when i tried it without needing to change anything

If im honest.. I'm one of those "plug and play and hope of the best" guys. I'd like to make my own setups, but i even found a simple guide complicated. I may have a look over it again sometime though!

Yeah, it did that the first time i went online with S2. I tried disabling it incase too, but it didnt work.

Before you ask, yes i have searched, and followed the guid thing.

I set it all up to what seems correct, yet when i click "go" on the PC trying to connect, it just says "connecting" then after about 10 seconds, it goes back to where you click "go" without any error messages. Same happens when the other PC is hosting.

Both are S2.

It worked when both were on the demo version awhile ago, and just out of curiosity, i made another version of LFS on each PC, leaving them at the demo version, and the same thing happend.

Any ideas to whats missing or happening?

I've read through this thread, and i can't believe that a 16 year old English guy cannot type half as good as a dutch person i know, who is around the same age, or maybe younger. Same with understanding the typed English language.

And it certainly does sound like the other guy broke your card, and absolutly nothing to do with LFS. Take these peoples word for it, the obviously know alot more about computers than you

Maybe i would like it if it would use the mouse to steer! The keyboard is impossible imo.

Though i must say the sounds in rfactor are much better than what lfs has at the moment.

BUT.. gameplay comes first!

I have a Lloyds TSB Visa Electron Debit Card. The site says that it acepts UK debit cards, which is what i have, but it just tells me its an "Invalid Payment Method"

I have used this card to purchase games online before, so i know it works online. I didn't really want to use paypal, one of the reasons is it takes a while to transfer money, other than that, im not keen on it.

Any ideas to why it wont let my use it?

Yeah, though ive come to a wall at the moment. I can't seem to break the 1:29 barrier at the moment. Best ive got is 1:29.54, i shall keep at it though :P My average time has come down alot too, usually get around 1:31 now

Just tried a new setup for the XRT, done 3 laps with it, got it down too 1:31.32 Made a huge difference to how the car felt, just need to push it to see what i can get out of it now :P

Hopefully get it in the high 1:20's soon!
