Fixed the problem my graphics card drivers needed updating so I just downloaded the omega drivers for ATI radeon works perfect now!

ye but the files arent the problem because I used the dds files from another computer with LFS on where they work fine!

Replacing the dds files hasnt worked anything else?

Hey guys iv just done a full restore of my computer and just now when iv gone 2 play LFS all the cars are missing there reflections, they just look like they have matte paint! Any thoughts? I can post a few screenies if they are needed!

Ok so yesterday I was bored as hell and decided to make this, It's my first ever movie so be gentle people lol! I know there are a few faults like on one corner the camera passes through a few cars and that the quality sucks well thats because my computer sucks. But anyway I'm still playing with the settings to figure out what produces the best quality video. Its only a short movie because I thought a whole race would take forever it being my first!
So tell me what you think.

Dunno about the others but im guessing the mrt5 would have a manual clutch because it uses a motorbike engine. and also because on the website it says this "The gear shifter and clutch pedal are mounted behind the steering wheel."

Try using this .exe that Yamakawa sent me because mine used to do that before Yamakawa sorted it! It doesnt jump suddenly on mine anymore but if that doesnt work then I dont know why sorry!

Ok i've changed a couple of things: it now sounds a little smoother still a little rough but I think that makes it sound a bit beefy kind of showing you the power it has! Also you can now hear the shift point and redline much better than before. Hope you like!

Ummm no because if I did that it wouldnt sound as good because I would be missing a whole band or section (not sure of a word lol) of sound. Also it does it with all the samples I use so its a problem with the mod not my samples but its only this car, all the others are great!

I think your having the same problem I am no matter what I do it doesnt blend the high rev sound properly it just immediately jumps from medium revs to high revs sounds at 8500 rpm. I've PM'ed Yamakawa and hope to get a reply soon.

That can't be what the problem is because it does the exact same thing if I use the sounds from the FZR that yamakawa made! And i've tried a fresh install of CSR with no luck. Also I even tried LFS and CSR on my laptop and everything i've said is exactly the same on there. So i don't see how im the only one having ths problem baffles me lol!! illepall

Ok I've recorded the problem I'm having to help explain whats going on.
The LFS off sound file is what I hear when i've turned off LFS after using the FZ50 but still got CSR running.
The sound in CSR file is what I hear when running my mouse over the bar in CSR, it sounds fine not great because it needs work but ok.
The sound in LFS file is what I hear when driving the FZ50 in LFS it just sounds completely weird no matter what I do.

So what did you do just record samples of low revs, mid revs and high revs from the video?

Well the thing is they sound blended fine when you scroll the mouse over the bar in CSR understand? lol but not in lfs at all but the decellerating sounds perfectly fine! Ye knock yourself out I dont mind at all but what I would really like is if you could take out the kind of hissing sound in the background (If its possible I dont know) or do I only notice that hehe!

I've just had a go at trying to change the sounds for the FZ50 but no matter what sound samples I use or how I change the frequency the sounds don't blend properly when accelerating. There's no problem decellerating at all work's fine. And also I don't know if anyone else has noticed but when ever I close LFS after using this car there are still sounds playing in the background, It doesnt happen in any other car and only stops when I close CSR so I think there may be a problem with the coding or whatever for the FZ50. I can record the audio if you would like it may help explain!
