i had a simular problem with my pc i used up 3 unlocks in 1 month so i contacted lfs and asked them if they could give me additional unlock

they gave me 1 unlock so i didnt have to wait

i have made a track on autocross (carpark)

but i want to enforce a no pitting rule ...so when drivers pit they automatically get made to spectate and not kicked

iv seen this rule on other servers so i know it can be done
i just dont know how

i want to add rules like no reseting no driving the wrong way
how do i do it ...is it a scripting thing ? if it is iv never done it before so where do i start?

oh and how do i add the rules to the splash screen??

thanks ppl i got it sorted out i can host games now yeay !
it wasnt my router i had the correct ports open
it was a pc problem so it got formated and hey it works now

iv disabled xp firewall but still no joy ...... i tried it again today guest came on but lost connection

oh another thing i have lfs on my laptop aswell so i ran game on pc + laptop in demo mode ... i started a server on pc but couldnt find it on demo list on laptop ahhhhhhhhh!!!! its all gone wrong

thanks for the reply.... ports 63392 and 29339 TCP AND UDP are open ....i use a router with Lan cable NOT wireless... i dont have firewall installed as router has one ...one thought is maybe my XP firewall ?? i think i should disable it

i am trying to host my own game but every time someone joins they lose their connection or just cant get in ....i use a router with my pc and i have opened the ports required so whats gone wrong

i emailed lfs the same question as 'Blakjekass' about the s2 license and below is the replay i got from lfs

"Hi,

You can play together, against each other in LAN mode. So that means, not
playing on the internet. If you both want to go online on the internet at
the same time and race against others as well, you will need 2 separate
accounts, each with an S2 license.

yes you can play together with same unlocks but u have to play on lan (link 2 pc's via ip addresses) i had the same question so i emailed LFS and thats what i was told....... YOU CAN NOT PLAY ON INTERNET AT THE SAME TIME ON THE 2 PC'S WITH SAME UNLOCKS
