solved the problem: you need to have admin rights, my online account doesn't have them, so i had to log in as admin, open the game, log out and start again on my second / online account.

so, if i am getting you right i have to do another unlock? i can`t even remember how the first worked ... lfs has been a marvel of consistency and non-problem-making product ever since i first unlocked in - i guess - february. now i have installed the v-patch (last u version i guess 22 or 23) and when i want to unlock, all it says is "file mistake"? what`s wrong? anyone have a guess?

yep, very sure indeed, it asked me if it should overwrite this and that. maybe the problem is the ghost car program which i have installed about four weeks ago? i`ve just tried the old staple: shutting down windows, rebooting etc. nothing's changed.

I have just downloaded and installed the new version V (thx for the mail LFS) but I cannot unlock it, since it always says :File error. What could be the problem?

thx folks for the good advice, me stupid should have thought of that alone. the mystery remains though: how were the settings changed, wasn`t me, I swear. haven`t been to that screen since first running lfs, set everything to max and have been happy everafter. what outside force was with me and changed it? or was it just a freak of nature???

Hi folks, it must have been one of the skin downloads because i changed nothing at all on my lfs configurations. but as of last week the inner parts of my wheels (and everybody else`s) are missing and most players`tyres look octagonal while still on the grid. performance is not a problem (i guess) but it looks quite awful


Can anybody help me out?
