gotta love the big V-twins. just picked this up a few weeks back, well px'ed my vfr400 for it anyways. havent had a chance to ride it yet really as the shock needs a rebuild, will deffo be getting done before summer though.
the new beasty, currently returning it to its original unmolested state:
just got rid of the little viffer, not the most powerful bikes but they can give just as much thrills:
without me trawling through the pages of add-ons with basically no idea of what im looking for can someone point me in the right direction of the must have add-ons.
i lost my car liscence when i was 18, because i hadnt been driving 2 years i would have had to resit my theory and test. ill stick with the bike for now. although the 80 mile commute in sub zero temperatures this winter may change my mind
i tried it once just for the fun of it, really does taste like absolute crap and it lingers for a good while. id rather suck a fart from a fat birds ass tbh
made a little vid from the autocross track with someones layout from here. only had the game just over a week so its by no means anything special but i think im progressing ok. constructive critisicm is more than welcome:
its pretty much like other habits such as nail biting. what started out as something used to alleviate stress or occupy your mind has now been going on so long your do it uncosciasly (sp).
its obviously nowehere as dangerous to your health as a chain smoker or alcoholic and the worst youll probably get is a chipped tooth, but if you want to address the situation you will need to use a method that will make you aware that you are actually doing it. maybe use the same stuff that nail biters do which tastes absolutely rank. put it on a few of your favourite chew bits and no doubt youll forget about it, until of course you start chewing.
lol, loving the moto gp style exhaust, sounds meaty although i bet it rides like an absolute dog. did you take it for a spin when it was off?? my mate has a full ethos system on his RVF but it sounds like a wet fart tbh. ive heard much better cheaper systems about for them.
no need for me to take the exhausts off the old bike it done well enough with them on lol:
sweet, would that be the 122/123 engines?? had a 122 engined rs125 and was an absolute hoot, with the gearing and weight advantage on the karts though i bet there easily twice as quick.do any classes run the the 257 lump?? seem to be rare as rocking horse s**t, would love 1 for an r125 conversion/track bike
thought it would be quite intresting to see some of the members rides and there specs as the majority will be avid petrol heads.
only the bike liscence at the moment but hopefully get my car liscence back sometime in the future:
my current ride:
and an action pic:
havent had it long so the mods have only gone as far as SP1 calipers, EBC HH sintered pads, HRC rear brake resevoir, braided lines and a couple of pretty bits.
oredering a set of hyperpro fork/shock springs which will go on with a full rebuild and am waiting for the right can to come along on fleabay
im should be getting the SP1 next year if all goes to plan, currently got a 96 blade but the IL4's have nothing on a good twin. there an exotic japanese bike which imo makes them more sought after than any italian bike.
the only thing you have to remember when buying them is they are a completely track biased bike, perfect for the sunday run but youd want to chuck it off a bridge if used for the everyday commute. the other problem with them is the fuel injection is very snatcy at low RPM although its easily sorted with a power commander and some dyno time.
all depends on what you need the bike for, if its purely to ride the balls off it then go with the Honda (imo of course).
nothing wrong with that imo, you see worse on public bill boards. only people that will complain is the sad old gits with nothing better to do than beat children on the streets with there walking sticks and count there growing number of 1950's carrier bag collection
sounds like a good idea mate. ive had the game nearly a week now and have mostly been practicing the drift element of the game. ive got to the point where i can get round 2 tracks now without cocking up but i still think i can get a lot more angle on my drifts.
loving the track you have made aswell, ive been on a few servers now watching some guys donuting around cars but i didnt want to try myself as i knew id end up nailing straight into the other car. this track will really help.
cheers
couldnt afford the boozer tonight so i thought id knock a quick mini cooper skin up for the UF GTR. ill be using it on my car but feel free to use it on your own:
