just finished up a new skin, used the classic Brumos racing livery as an inspiration since I always liked the simplicity of that livery.

the graphics are a bit fuzzy, and stretched out. maybe try to find some higher resolution logos and what not. that would look better IMO.

the little corner at the pod and fuselage is a little awkward.

i use autoclutch, my new MOMO wheel is only two pedals, and I can't justify buying a new wheel just to play with a clutch. I can't see doing heel 'n toe manuevers on pedals anyway, I can't get them to sit still as it is, much less during heel n toe.

And I have nothing to prove in that regard, I can heel n toe my real car, on a real track, with ease, and don't care to while racing LFS. I suck bad enough as it is. no need to make it worse.

yep, it sure is there. very cool. I can't imagine skinning a car without it, or the Master Skinnerz kits. looks like I have some work to do! other than learning to drive that twitchy car.

where did you get your template for the FBM, or are you just using the default one and adding your colors on top. if you had a kit, like the Master Skinnerz kits, with the wireframe, lining things up is a lot easier. but I don't think they have one out for the FBM yet. Check that, they do, I just found it. I know what I will be doing today. but it does not have the wireframe.

yeah, master skinnerz kits are the best, and allow for very nice, very clean skins. especially when using photoshop.

nevermind me, I tried the .NET program, and it worked like a charm, all setups were changed in about 1 second.

please excuse my computer illiteracy. it is appaling, I know.

but was is .NET Framework 2.0?

and will splattaels' program work if I don't have .NET whatever it is.

yeah, the wheel spokes are too thin and light looking for a race car.

the wheels on the car are not very believable, too thin, too big for a car like that.

what program are you using to render?

The number panel could be a bit bigger. It seems to small. The Redexx logo on the front corner looks odd when it is crooked, maybe line it up with the lines of the bumper. And the roof of the car seems bare. I do like the pure red better than the darker red, it stands out more, and in race car liveries, I think the brighter, more bold colors are better.

Another skin in the series, all with the same theme for our server, if we ever get around to racing other teams.

Been working on a new skin for the MRT, and thought I would post it, get some feedback. I am not the best at making skins, but I am learning. Any comments, or suggestions would be appreciated. TIA.

Hoversnap is a great little free program, you can set it up to auto-name files, and you can capture as many as you want, and it creates whatever file type you want, and you can also set it up to automagically size the files too.
