Quote from Viper93 :Well with modded suspensions and everything tweaked, it's more up to the driver, but they can make and take corners well. I was thinking more along the lines of production cars. With mods you can pretty much make a car do anything if you have the cash to do it.

OT: The acura's have been leading most of the season and it was nice to see the SRT-4's running 3rd and 4th until one cut a tire =/ The problem in the Touring car series is that the Acura has over double the setup data that the SRT-4 has and that makes a huge difference. You look at all the Dodge cars and for the most part they finish higher in the standings each race than the previous race. I see them next year running for the championship with the AWD Audi and the FWD Acura TSX. Too bad the RWD BMW cannot keep their cars running or they might be up there too =)

I have Stage 3 KW Coilovers, Hotchkis sways, Rear Tri-Point Strut Tower bar, Rear Tension Strut kit, -1.5 negative camber. Car handles like a dream compared to stock.

Rode in Rick Synder's World Challenge car at the 06 SRT Nationals. He has moton all around... I couldn't believe how much faster he was than I was. It really showed me that you can have a FWD car handle.

And your right about the setups... I guess your on SRTForums also, haha.

Quote from lalathegreat :Me personnally if i had 20-25K to spend on a car, i would Get A Ek cvic and overhaul it aftermarket suspension bla bla bla. as for the engine i would get a k24 or k20. And that would eat any SRT

Highly doubt it. You have no idea how a SRT-4 handles with great suspension. We recently finished 3rd place in the World Challenge series with Acuras all finishing behind it.

Quote from TagForce :We see you're using Internet Explorer, which is not 100% compatible with this website. We strongly suggest downloading Firefox. We think you'll like it better:

· Firefox blocks pop-up windows.
· It's more secure against viruses and spyware.
· Features like tabbed browsing make reading webpages easier.
· It keeps Microsoft from controlling the future of the internet.

Click the button on the right to download Firefox. It's free.

That's what he's talking about
Personally I don't mind it, it's just one site... Look at how many sites won't work in FF properly because they're built for IE. And they won't give you a IE download link either, so they're even less user friendly

That's odd. I remember visiting that site with MSIE7. That's why I didn't understand.

What are you talking about?

Quote from ajp71 :It would could cause visibility issues

Ditto. Plus, if you notice the car is the "Safety Car". Doubt that it's racing.

Quote from TagForce :Hi, and welcome to LFS...

Just wondering... What leagues in Nascar? Maybe we've raced eachother before

It's been WAY too long.. I honestly can't even remember, lol.

Quote from Racin Jason :hey,

This game is beyond awsome! We need to meet up on LFS and run! Glad to see another person from around where I live (Virginia) well sorta... I run at VIR, summit point, and Carolina motorsports park. Nice car you got there! This game Really helps in real life. Don't know if you autox but there are also autox leagues and stuff that really help better yourself in real life to.

Paprus is great! Right now I'm running redline GTP addon for Nascar 2003, really a great game! Anyone play that?

seeya on track!

Jason

I actually do more autocross right now just because road course racing is so expensive. I plan on doing more once I graduate college.

Hello all! I played the first LFS demo a long time ago back when it was first released. I played the updated version today and got hooked and bought it.

I previously played the NASCAR Racing series by Papyrus online before I even got my drivers license. I won a number of races in leagues in that game so I'm excited to be back into Sim racing.

My real car is a Silver 2004 Dodge SRT-4. My avatar is me driving the car at Heartland Raceway Park road course. I hope driving online helps me in real life and kills my urge for racing in the winter time.

**I would have said hi in the sticky post but I was curious if people use knowledge here to a real race track.
