The Wr setup felt alot better when accelerating out of turns and the braking on the rumble strips felt crazy at first (with the vribrations trough the weel) but i'm starting to get it down.

(After trying another setup i went back to the Wr setup and i could not drive it....)

The hardest part for me is turn 2, could somebody describe the line trough there.
Using a higher gear seemed to help but it was 3rd not 4th in my case.
I'm using the gearbox in automatic mode (because i don't want to think about too much)

I guess i will have to learn it the hard way now so could somebody give me tips on shifting in the FBM.(i noticed i had to lift of a bit to shift into 4th but how much exactly?)
I wonder if the complete loss of traction on grass is realistic, it feels like i'm on ice even at 3 kph.... and because i crash so much it is very annoying....

First of all thanks for the setups, i will try them tomorrow .
But i still have the feeling that the rumble strips push me to the outside of the track and the brakes feel different.

(i would expect that braking with 2 wheels on the rumble strips and 2 wheels on the track would end in a spin)

Also i read somewhere that i should use the least amount of wing possible to get a more stable car.........wich sounds weird....

I use the setupfield setups.(the ones with realistic times)

What is it about a setup that aloows me to brake on rumble strips or fly over kerbs or take ridiculous apex speed?

I was thinking that it might be HOW i brake or HOW i go over kerbs.

I have been looking at the WR laps for this combination and i have noticed a couple of things that i'm not able to do.

I can't enter the turn as wide because braking on the rumble strips is a recipie for disaster for me.(they seem to "push" me in the wrong direction)

After turn 1 the WR guys just fly over the three kerbs at ful throttle, if i do this i spin immediately.

I can't accelerate out of turns very well,the WR guys floor it before the apex sometimes while i have to be verry gently and make sure i haven't got too much lock on or i spin,putting full power down in the last corner is also very tricky for me.

I started messing with wing angles and i found an improvement in the turns but i topped out at 200 kph on the straight.

Do you guys have tips for me on how to handle these issues.

(Also how do i get my tyres up to temperature quicker.)

Yes you are right, i just wondered how quick everybody could go with the same car and the same setup because i did not know you could change them.(in the demo)

The main difference between the really fast laps and me is that the fast ones turn in alot wider but if i try that i turn in way to late...

(i'm asking this because i need a benchmark before i get a license.)

Currently i am practicing in the demo with the first car on the first track(GTI testdrive) but i wonder how quick the "pros" can go with the default setup?

I'm just wondering how much i need to practice in the demo before i can be relatively competitive online.

Vettel was already angry when Alonso said that he was fighting Adrian Newey not Vettel,so i wonder how angry he was that the team bosses taught that Alonso was the best driver...

But this was an amazing season ,every race was exiting and we saw alot of "new" drivers showing their skills.

I do wonder what wil happen to Hamilton at Mercedes, it seems to me that moving from the most succesful team to mercedes was more of a money move than anything else...

Hi, i'm the alien and i'm very interested in racing, i downloaded the demo for LFS because i heard that it was the most realistic racing sim out there.
So far i have only played the demo but once i get more consistent in my lap times i will get a license .

I'm mostly interested in open wheel racing but my experience so far in the formula BMW has been quite bad, i keep getting launched by the kerbs.
( so now i practice in the first car)

The main reason i play this game is to inprove my irl driving skills because the first time i went karting i was shockingly bad... and going karting every week to practice is not an option.

i was just thinking about what i said the other day in a thread and i know this doesnt improve the game but will improve the lfs user's mobile or whatever

An Application that has everything like lfs world with the forum and website included for a small fee of 59p GBP it would pay for work taken i saw victor had said about new LFSW so maybe this could be coded to work with it.

but he hasnt posted anything in a month and half no disrespect to him but all the comotion on the forum about a load of nothing is all he has been correcting recently no such update as it was

kinda hoping its soon 8-10 weeks as.. thats when GT5 comes out and alot of online games which will make an impact hoping LFS can keep up and after this update get LFSW updated then on and upwards

i read in some recent news, victor told RSC that when the new "patch" would be close when the "Test Patch" would reopen in the forum was just wondering if there was any info or heads up on about when there would be some testing released?
