I can't wait for whenever the next LFS update comes. I'm not in any hurry for it, I know they'll take their time. I still love the physics in LFS and the force feedback/overall driving feel. Still hop on for FBM at Blackwood sometimes. I think I speak for many people when I say that: sure, we don't play LFS daily or even that often, but it still has a spot among one of the best driving games. When the update comes out, I really think it'll breathe some life back into the game and a lot of people will, like me, be excited and dust off LFS and hop back on.

Quote from cargame.nl :If it was that easy there would be more cars supported by default wouldn't it. Changing some engine settings and changing the look of the car doesn't make it all of a sudden a replication of a real car. But he bought S2 now, so what am I talking... Enjoy whatever you are going to do

With proper knowledge of LFStweak you can literally make exact copies of most cars. You can change the Engine size, torque, powerband, redline, weight, placement, the car's weight, wheelbase, track, center of gravity, drag coefficient, tire widths, etc etc. After that you have a near exact replica in LFS. I didn't mean just changing the engine lol.

Quote from cargame.nl :Yes. Besides you can only do this on specialized servers.. Which are not really a lot out there.

If this are your initial questions its maybe better to go back to Need for Speed or something.

Or, he can stick to LFS and enjoy it for the reason many of us still do: you can pretty much make your own cars or replicate any real life one using LFStweak,

LOL guys well it looks like i legitimately have the fastest drag time in LFS with my 1.1L I4 superturboed 7720 hp FBM that weighs 54kg without driver. On my other computer i managed to get a 2kg car that would not glitch out on track, but it was really weird... like all the weight was in the wheels so it was all unsprung weight. It was really weird and hard to explain lol.

I think I have hit the absolute limit in LFS for the fastest drag time.. Anyone think they can beat me? Absolutely ANYTHING using LFSTweak is allowed. Any car, anything. Doesn't have to be realistic in any way. Just an all-out obliteration of the drag strip, the only limitation being:

You can ONLY use LFSTweak 0.6E. ONLY.

My current "perfect" time is around 4.5seconds.

Quote from Flame CZE :I found it being mentioned by Victor in an interview at planet3dgames from March 2005.

Thanks... That's the first place I've heard mention of a "rally pack"... what is a rally pack?? Would it be rally cars? Or like rally courses?

Quote from Flotch :with the physics of that time, you were spinning the car in the straight of blackwood just before the split time ... it was a bit too much crazy, and tyres were hot too quickly, meaning the car was clearly undriveable by that time
But with current physics, it could be quite good ... and with some tuning and small downforce ... :rally_dri
But, Scawen decide on this topic

I remember him talking about a buggy never shown to public too

Can you link me to the buggy quote? I do know one of the hidden CarTypes is for a buggy of some sort
