Is there a lack of leagues at the moment? I've been trying to find one I can enter all day but no luck.....

Cheers, I do appreciate that mate. I'm probably looking at HM then as they do a little bit of cruising aswel, and where I am interested in a bit of racing I don't want to leave cruise servers totally. I'd like to think even though I might not be able to race an FXO very well, I'm pretty experienced in cruise servers and so I would have something to give back to a team atleast whilst I refined some racing skill?

EDIT: Ohhh. I use the mouse, but I always have done so I have absolute control. Also not very experienced but very willing to learn. I'll keep watching this thread for the application I filled out earlier today.

EDIT: I have done an online app form. I'd come as another cruiser experienced in fair play and being a fair cop. I have always driven the FXO religiously so I want to get some racing practice in a decent team and enter some races! I'm a bit of a n00b to the racing scene but an enthusiastic and competitive one none the less

I have been using LFS for some time, a few years now, and I would like to join a racing team to get some practice in and take part in some leagues. I have been a member of BRT before, British Racing Team, but for a very short time before Chapz had to shut down due to other commitments. I was unable to take over the running of the team at that time. Apart from that short membership I have very little racing experience as such, but I have a lot of FXO driving experience on other servers (Yes, cruising but as a cop.... no stupid comments about that please).

I am an FXO driver because of the FWD handling. The XRT is just a pain in the backside (it's not even a quick car.. so why bother with RWD handling?), and the RB4 is just an RB4... enough said lol. With that said, I wouldn't mind being the only FXO driver in a team.

Hiya all,

My old pc got scrapped and so Ive just brought a cheapy with an AGP 4X slot, and have a GeForce 7600GS 256mb AGP 8X which is being a pig on the motherboard and so obviously not backwards compatable (Which needs to be backwards compatable? Motherboard or card?).
I was just wondering if anybody could recommend a good 4X card that would run as good as a 4X card is going to on LFS. Im going to avoid wasting my money (again) buying an 8X card! It’s a pain because the 7600 will now have to be sold etc etc to pay for a new card!! Grr.

Hmm...looking at ATI Radeon 9550 256 MB... not sure if this will work on a 4X slot though

btw PC Spec is

Pentium 4 2.6GHz
512mb 2700 DDR Ram, and do I need a 256mb card or will it run okay on 128mb? really havent got money to spend on this but needs to be done, so think cheap lol cheers

As some of you know, I host and run the cnr server CNRUK.CO.NR Cops & Robbers UK. I would like to be able add another welcome message, which is IN GAME. So when people have joined the server, it just says ''Welcome! Please read the rules at www.cnruk.co.nr and check our forums at www.cnrukforums.co.nr '' ? How can this be done, becuase as far as Im aware LFS:AM from cr4zyice isnt available for dedicated servers?

I totally agree with Brad, if you can guarantee this wont happen again, which isnt really difficult in my opinion (especially with the info from SamH), then I'll be more than happy to unban you. Right, he posted on the forums in July to say his brothers had used his computer to mess about on LFS, or that he suspected they had.

All that needs doing is a long password from a mixture of numbers and letters, and problem solved. It isnt like this is the first time ??

Your brothers having access to your computer is not really an excuse, as XP has a fantastic feature, where you can put a password on your login ??? If he knew his brothers had access to his computer, and were going to behave like that, he should password protect his PC full stop, and this problem would have not arisen am I wrong?
