heya, its all good, but is it supposed to horn too? cos mine isnt doing that just curious, and might it be cos I got horn set on a diff button (press down scroll on mouse?)

Hmmm, definately need to learn a little from 500servers about how they do things. You cant jump into things like this without even a general knowledge of what it is your actually doing, or how much you should charge.

500 Servers is a well established, well ran and managed, and very reliable host, with very cheap servers (and absolutely fantastic web hosting too, with cP access).

Its going to be difficult to get yourself any custom if you dont start at the same level as ''competitors'', and try to build on what they are doing.

Wheres your website? Wheres your support forums? Lets get the basics out of the way first....

Ive recently had a big problem with LFS . either.....

1. you go into a server and it just lags like poo and the FPS is anything from 0.5 to 4.
   
2. or you drive for a while, and then it starts doing it.

I know for a fact this is nothing to do with my PC Specficiations, Im sure its a trojan, or something else using my bandwidth that shouldnt be.

If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it, only I am supposed to be racing later this afternoon and I cant afford to lose points, Cheers.

I dont think Phlos should be allowed to 'run riot' on our servers just because he hosts one 16 slot server, I host one (sometimes two) for TC and CityDriving, but I've never felt the urge to act like a kid like he has done. If he keeps it up, he can stuff his server and we can and will get it from somewhere else, probably free of charge too.

Recently TC has been working really hard to get back our good reputation for good players in good, well managed servers, and I think its paid off.
Until Phlos comes along I guess ....

Should be fixed now, as the servers now have TC in them, we've got some control atleast who uses the TC name (hopefully). Thanks to all who posted, we appreciate your opinions

Im not sure what you all mean by saying CityDriving is like saying 'drift' or 'drag'..... unless my IQ is less than 3 I think its called Cops and Robbers, and CityDriving is just a brand name which falls under the game mode.

Regardless of wether anything can be done about this or not, I agree thats its important to raise awareness or these 'moron hosted' servers.

Its fine to do it (so u say, but never will be in my opinion), but, its when these waste of LFS slot servers start degrading the CityDriving reputation for fair cops and robbers servers that we work hard to uphold. Thats it.

Im not writing a big letter to Tony Blair or my local MP and asking you to sign a potition, just please be aware that these servers, unless stated on the link above, have nothing to do wiith us, or how we do things.

Hmmm if you like badly made layouts, with no admin, I cant stop you.

We're always making new layouts and trying them out on different servers, we've currently got layouts on AU1, SO5, and a new Jamica seerver (which you will have to go and have a look at for yourself), also if we notice a server isnt being used, we try and find another layout for it.

I know posting here wont get a lot done, and the morons will stop eventually, but it is just frustratin. Just wanted to know really what peoples view were ...

Considering the amount of hard work that everyone puts into the CityDriving servers, its a shame when people just host servers with the same name to try and take all the credit for somebody elses hard work.

Hopefully the devs or someone can do something about this, as really, all we can do is go and ask them to change the name (and get swore at no doubt.)

I know CityDriving and Cops and Robbers in general isnt for everyone, but imagine if there were imitation Redline and ConeDodgers servers ...

Fags -> Millions of people sell them, and millions of people die every year because of them. But do you see people looking down on shop keepers for it?

Resistors -> they damage engines, but if the person doesnt research it in the first place, then thats their fault. If they dont research them, and then when they get a normal resistor in the post, theyre still stupid enough to put it in their car with know knowledge of the product, what do you expect?

Im making a website for a racing team, and I would like to have the team members PB's on show.

I know you can do the IsOnline thing () but I would lke it if I could add PB times which auto updated? Obviously this is going to be much easier than team members telling the site admin everytime they have a new pb!

If this is possible, would you need to show the players PB's for every track, or can you do PBs just for one track or combo etc

Wow, easy, you wrote a whole sentence there that was actually on topic .... FYI I dont sell them now. Its obvious to any idiot that you should research things like that before putting them on your car. If people dont do that, who fault is that?

Ive updated to latest version the other day after all the issues with patch U no longer working. I would just put this down to the fact that its all on temporary servers or whatever is happening at the moment, but I dont wana sit on my thumb for a month and still have the same problem.

Yet more problems with LFS ... Not sure if its just me or if its a big problem like the other day.

When I try to connect to servers it says:

And doesnt show alot of the servers, the once it does show, I cant connect to. I get the error message

I think Firsty's idea is really good, and there should definately be an option for this especially as Cops and Robbers is getting bigger.

I also think there should be a much better model in LFS for damage, full off parts, smashable lights etc. Then there would ACTUALLY be a need for saftey cars, if there was debry on the track etc.

LFS is a great game, but there are alot of improvements to be made

Apart from being full of n00bs and idiots (well in test phase anyway), u lose ur car so much on that server, that after 30mins you lose the motivation to carry on. also, if u ask some1 how to rob the bank or do the lottery ticket, no1 wants to help, cos they are all out for theirselves. This server is a waste of time, well, I suppose all of them are in a way, but Id rather enjoy wasting my time thanks.

How can someone have access to your email and/or your license details ?

Also on autocross, is there a way to get the little map back? The sounds suck, but I can put up with them if I still have my blip map in autoX!!!
