Heres one for the public. Its based on the Mclaren F1, thats why the line on the side is kinda funky. It looks a little plain but I follwed the real car somewhat close. Enjoy.
Well heres a couple i started but just havent got around to finishing yet. I cant seem to come up with a good idea for a sponsor for the slimy xrt. Anybody got any ideas? The M&M car just needs some more sponsor decals and yes I know some of the M's are backwards. :nut: Thanks for your opinions!
Well ive been wanting to do this for a while now, just have to find time to finish it. Not sure on the sponsor yet ,maybe something fictional, allthough Nickeloden (spelling?) seems like a good one. Im not to sure if i like the hood, its supposed to look like the slime is getting sucked in the scoop. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome
Im not the expert but the script creates a new file that can be opened in blender (RB4GT.obj IIRC) you just use blender to open the file and use the advice above to put the skin on, ya it gets very confusing very fastillepall , i can get the car model into blender and got the skin on but having trouble rendering it , ive given up for a while though :banghead:
oh and becarefull with the slashes /////\\\\/\/\/\///\\
Xara Extreme is vector based and cheaper than photoshop, i think its great:icon23: http://www.xara.com/
I dont think it will do .rar, just says file not recognized, though ive not had it for very long so im no expert, it will open .eps most of the time
Well i just checked the website i posted and it says i shouldnt be able to use eps but says to use psd .
oohh do i have to extract the file from rar format somehow?
Thanks for your comments The more i look at it the more i see the hotwheels car is too bright and the decals need some tweaking. I cant seem to get the Master Skinnerz kits to open, im using Zara, any ideas what the problem is? I got the decals from Brands of the world, so Zara is capable of opening some diff formats.
Ive been working on these off and on for a while when I get time. Im not sure if im ready to call them done yet or not. Im still pretty new at this and any opinions or suggestions are welcome
ok, i got the script to work, finally , but after i import i dont see anything. am i missing somthing?:banghead:
lol, nevermind yet again, i found it, i guess you have to load the file that the script made, now just have to figure out the rest, thanks for getting me this far,and thanks for the script!
sorry to hijack the thread but is there anywhere that has a step by step guide to rendering with blender for complete noobs like me illepall ? and what is this yafray? i thought blender was the render? If someone could point me in the right direction it would be great.
The very first would have to be Night Drivin for the Atari 2600, not much of a game just bunch of white blocks coming at you. Then there was a F1 game for the intellavision (remember those?). and of course countless hours on rad racer. The first real pc race game I played was Micropose F1 GP. It was pretty good for the early 90's but I was playing with the keyboard so im not sure if I ever completed a lap without meeting the wall:ouch:
Anybody want to render these if they get time? Im a noob illepall so if things dont line up right dont be too harsh on me . I hope these havnt been done yet.
