LFS is in hibernation, I'll randomly pop back to check if there has been a patch, as for now I don't play it...
I bought a 1 year membership to iracing for $70, they have promotions fairly regularly, and I don't regret it at all... But I hardly play it save for the offline system because of the nazi online play regulation.
Gran turismo 5 is okay, I would put it physically the same as LFS, because it doesn't simulate tire pressure at all (I think), but LFS's tire-wear and heat is so gimped that it's not any better. GT5 was never meant to be a full racing simulator, because then no one would buy it; they want people to think it's a racing sim, while toning it down so people with the sixaxis do not break their TVs regularly by throwing one against the other, in which-ever order.
I think that this sounds reasonable for offline use only... because it's a simulation right? So I thought this would be passable to most people, especially since I want to experiment what a car would feel like if there were some wear and tear/problems in the suspension components, however, I cannot specify what parts are damaged and to what extent, I'm not much of a programmer but im guessing this doenst require massive amounts of work =/ just an idea ><'
