hi there, just got my new pc yesterday.
Asus Intel P5k
Q6600 2,4ghz
Asus Radeon HD4850
2gb DDR2 800mhz
today downloaded the 8.6 HOT fix for the 4xxx series. It says to uninstal the old driver first, when i go to control panel, the only thing from Ati there is Ati Catalyst instal Manager and i doesnt have the Uninstal option. What do I do?

yey, the 4850 arrived early, 170€ is it better than the 3870? i seen reviews, and the gpu clock and etc ond the 3870 is superior than the 4850... what do you guys think? 4850?

yes, i have been shearching, i found various websites where it was cheaper, but the costs of the shipping, it stays about the same price, so its not realy worthless.

well, I talked to the owner of the store, and he said they wont get the 4xxx Series any time soon, i went to another store today, they said me the same. The others stores who migh have it in a week or two are out of question, because it´s too expensive there... an HD3850 costs about 200€ here in some stores . I had in mind already a 8400 3.0ghz, but i have asked in foruns and etc. and they recomended me the Q6600. I also asked for the 8800GT, as it´s suposed to be around the same price as an HD3870... but no... 400€?

Well, im planing to play the newest games, specialy crysis, my monitor only have a max resolution of 1024x728, but im planning to buy a new one later. What i would like to know is with what choice I will get a better perfomance in games?

I have windows vista home premium and it takes about 2-4 minutes to start. before yesterday it was taking about 3 minutes to shutdown then the blue screen error apeared :S.

well, i would like to return it. Here in portugal, the phones companys have a pact or something like that, where the 10th grade students, teachers etc... can get a pc by 150€ and pay one year of internet 15€ per month... so the only chance is to see if its possible to replace the graphic card... and looks like no I have been shearching about external graphics cards, or adaptors for laptops, something like this, and i found that asus was doing something like that, but i dont know if its out yet, or if it can be used on any laptop...

hey, is it possible to upgrade the graphic card? the laptop is a Fujitsu siemens Esprimo mobile V5515...

Hi, yesterday i received a new laptop... when I tried to run LFS it runs so slowww... like about at 7fps... I am with Windows vista Home premium... 2gb of ram, dual core 1,60ghz, SiS mirage 3 graphics... I tried do put the lowest graphics, but its the same. can anebody help me?

hi, i dont know if this is the right place to ask this or if this has already been asked but here it goes. I own a Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel and I'd like to know if it's possible to put the wheel of the game (in cockpit view) turning only 180 degrees like the thrustmaster wheel. I have already searched for it, but i cant find an awnser.
