Haha, yes I have also heard that after having either a T500RS or CSW, all other wheels feel like toys. Additionally, I see that you are also the founder of Fanaleds which seems to add even more of an incentive to have a Fanatec wheel.

I appreciate your input on this subject, as I am prepared to make the investment if I feel it adds a benefit to immersion. I am the type of person who is not necessarily looking for the best lap times, but the best immersion. For the longest time I would not even buy racing games simply because they did not feel real enough and were a waste of my time and money. However, just trying the G27 on LFS and it feels awesome. I just want the most immersive experience I can get for the money. And the CSW, is quite steep, but still in my price range.

Ahh, okay. Thanks for the insight. It possibly was the setup of the wheel, but after three of us testing both the G27 and the CSR we all agreed the CSR felt inadequate and just slow. I have seen some instances of the CSW being quite responsive, but others have also mentioned its lack of countersteer speed which is necessary for immersion while drifting.

Ahh ok, my question was because using the G27, which is gear driven it seemed very responsive versus the Fanatec CSR wheel another friend has. Gear driven just seemed to be far quicker and felt more real. This is simply because the belt has an inherit resistance where gear drives dont. However, I wondered if the CSW having two motors could actually react fast enough where im not having to spin the wheel and rather just catch it like real drifting.
Fanatec CSW fast enough for drift?

Hey guys,

So, first time posting here even though I have been playing LFS S2 for a bit now. I am wondering if anyone here has the Fanatec Clubsport Wheel and how they like it particularly in drifting.

The main concern I have with the Fanatec Clubsport Wheel is the ability for it to steer fast enough with the BMW GT2 wheel to simulate real drifting. Considering the size of the wheel, some I have read feel as it is slow.

Could anyone give some insight on this question? I would really appreciate it.
