I have had a look around the forums and can't quite find anything exacly like this problem. I am getting weird very small lag spikes. I have used teh shift f8 tool and it seems to go in time with my lag spikes. It can tick along below 100 down to teens then all of a sudden it can jump to anywhere from 120 - 500 when this happens i get the lag spikes and also a crackle from the sound. I get alot worse when i'm behind other cars. Any idea's or time ot buy a new nic card. I use my onboard nic card. Have not really noticed any great problems with other games.
Hi I have had a good search round the forums and can't find the answer to this. I am sure it is there juts not searching using the correct words. The guys on our server are having problems changing tracks. Basically it's on the 1st track and the command they are using to change is not changing. Is there anything that I need to put in the config to allow the track to be changed? I have for the moment all the maps on the rotation till they decide which ones they like.

Ah now you have me. In the cfg I have got S2 as the game. Not sure what th stage is. I am running the game using firedaemon and use the command parameter /cfg=setup.cfg to hopefully point the server to the right config which i assume it is as I can see in the progrma window the server is online and has the correct name.
O bugger!!! Thanks for checking. I wonder if I have downloaded the proper version then. I downloaded the S2 alpha version. Is there another one? Also is there a setting that I have to change to make it show up in the server list?
If my server is up and running. I am trying to get it ready for our US members getting up!! At the moment I don't have an S2 license and really need to do something about that!! I would be obliged if some one could check if this is up and running ok.

Hi All, We are a new clan that normally play FPS games. We are looking at starting up a dedicated server. I will be poping in and out asking for some advice on setup and maps and cars etc. At the moment we will be using the demo server, then if we can get enough people on we will be getting the full server up and running.
Looking forward to get this game up and running on one of our dedicated boxes.
