Already a few days before there was the release of our new homepage - internally known as Xcite-Racing.de 3.0
Maybe you'll ask "why?":
Simple Question, simple answer: R4id alias Kai Seifert had boredom. Of cause it was not the only reason. The former webside had a dismal and old appearance. For example the forum looked like something out of the 90's. Therefor we dicided to create design #3 - more colourful, clearer and more modern.
New features:
Double-columned news
From now on you've got the last 4 news at a look and have to possibility to read a single news by pressing "more".
Give us wideness!
This was the focus on our new design. The old contentarea was to small - news, forum and anything else was to tiny. Now this is all-new. The contentarea increases and the forum now uses 3/4 of the page because therefor the infoboxes went all on the right column.
New menu
Forget the old double-columned menu-landscape. From now on there is a clear dropdown-menu.
Infoboxes
Despite the broadened contentarea the usefull always visible infos do not miss. Now you'll find the drivers status, Teamspeak-Viewer, shoutbox, stats and the twitter-box on the right side of our page.
Twitter and Facebook
You'll find Xcite also on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Naturally there is a box on our new page, were you also are able to read the latest entries.
Slideshow
Of cause the already used slideshow couldn't miss. We upgraded it with an approaching description.

so here we go. my first post in this forum allthogh having the licence since february 2007^^
the skin I made up is from the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. It is the Porsche GT3 of the Herberth Motorsport Racing Team and is driven by Uwe Alzen, a famous German Driver.
