Be aware, two year warranty on these. Within the first 12 months you should contact your supplier, in the second year contact Logitech directly.

As has been said, if out of warranty you will probably need to open the pedals and clean the pots. Depending on your carpet you may simply find the pots full of fibres. You may have already come across this but you might want to try shutting down two of your running tasks - CCC.exe and MOM.exe. These are implemented by the Catalyst Control Centre but neither are actually needed to run your simulator software. The frequency that the CCC.exe tasks access your graphics card can itself causing micro-stutter.

If you have a broken clamp then superglue it together, drill a small pilot hole down through the clamp and screw in a long No 8 wood screw. If you countersink the hole then the screw head will disappear and wont get in the way when replacing the clamp back into the housing.

The ButtKicker has now been sold so is no longer available as an additional option.
The mounting for it is still on the chassis however so one can be easily fitted.

Hi. The price of £799 is just for the Nixim Racecraft GT chassis, including the seat and all of the speaker and monitor mounting brackets, the shifter mount and the keyboard/mouse stand. At today's exchange rate this is US $1261.53 (www.xe.com). New from Nixim this little lot would be US $2916.82.

I know that Nixim send Racecraft simulators to the US quite often so I could ask them how much the packing, courier and insurance charges would be but I assume that it wont be cheap. These are Very solidly made and are Heavy.

If you have a friend or contact here in the UK then I would be happy to discuss delivery to them.

The wheel is from a Joytech Williams F1 PS/2 wheel - and why not use the G27 wheel - 'cos this one is soooo much better !!!

I still need to fit six switches so that the top three buttons on either side directly replace the G27 switches but once I've done that I will have three or four of these that I will be putting up on the forums. The others have a simulated carbon fibre finish centre panel.

That's fine. The best discounted price I can find in the UK is £149.99 plus delivery. If you're looking at getting one from the USA then go ahead but don't forget to add on the carriage charge to the UK, the Import Duty, the VAT (on the carriage charge as well) then add on the £12-15 charge that the UK post or courier service will add on for handling the Customs paperwork. Doesn't work out quite such a bargain then.

As I said, the options are only available to the purchaser of the simulator. If they don't want the options then they wont take them.

Nixim Racecraft GT chassis - fully spec'd

Treat yourself, or get someone else to treat you, in time to have fun over the Christmas break. This is a fully spec'd Nixim Racecraft GT chassis, one of the best simulators on the market and almost certainly the strongest. Lovingly Hand built from heavy duty steel tube by a dedicated sim racer (Dave Nicholson). Dave is of the 'old school' and believes that the only job worth doing is a good one. The engineering and craftsmanship that go into each Nixim simulator is phenominal. You will never see a Nixim simulator 'flex' no matter how hard your driving style.

This Nixim simulator comprises the following :-

Following an upgrade to my rig I now have a Nixim Racecraft Polecat chassis for sale. This is Red/Black in colour and is in excellent condition. The seat is a Cobra Clubman in Black/Red and again, is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. Both have been really well looked after.

Cost is £275 (UK based only due to size & weight).

For those that don't already know the Nixim is exceptionally well built. It's one of the strongest rigs you'll ever come across and this chassis doesn't flex at all ! Collection would therefore be advised as it's heavy but I can put you in touch with a courier company for a transport quote. They have just delivered a freezer to Hemel Hempstead, 120 miles away, for under £60.

I have attached a 'sample' photo and will upload an actual photo as soon as I can.

I would be happy to answer any queries.

Make sure that the 'mains' power adaptor is connected and switched on. It sounds like you have no power going to the wheel.

'fraid not my friend. Providing the company or person is VAT Registered then VAT is due on pre-used goods as well.

It has been known for the value to be deliberately declared lower than it really is but HM Customs & Excise random sample incoming goods, particularly those that look 'suspect' i.e. might earn them a few quid. If they happen to come across it then it could be very, very expensive !!

Carriage is expensive but then the aluminium T-Slot frame parts are heavy'ish.

Dead easy :- SimConMOTION+BASE+Damper+ACadapter set = £1631.83, Cockpit = £261.03, carriage = £349.99, VAT at 17.5% = £392.50.

Grand total = £2635.35 current pricing on the Frex web site.

Your figure of 258,000 Yen is short by 1,600 Yen but even at 258,000 Yen the current conversion equals £2006.31 (www.xe.com). Plus of course you have to pay to get it here and then add VAT on the whole amount - including the carriage.

I have a Frex SimConMotion + Base + Damper + AC Adaptor set together with a Frex Cockpit for sale. These are Brand new, never assembled. Save over £1,000 on the cost of importing a new one - for sale at £1550 including carriage within the UK (to mainland addresses).

I would prefer to sell to a UK buyer but a sale to another country is possible but would require confirmed and secure (non retractable) payment being received before goods are released and you would need to arrange the courier collection.
