Hi,
On what occasions can a driver use @sc.
Does he use that when he crashed and unable to continue or
Does he use when crashed, but still can continue?
Incident:
Race Lap 49, 16:09
Turns 9 and 10
Cars 06, 7 - Contact
Intention was to give way since I had blueflag, so slowed down a bit there and tried to get away from line on the middle portion inbetween 2 turns - probably slight misjudgement by both of us.
Would like to protest since it was not clear. I understand from other drivers that it was mentioned in verbal briefing - but as english is not my first language, it felt a bit fast and unclear for me. I honestly wasn't aware of this as a rule. Hope this is taken into consideration.
I am in favor of accepting that move as legal, since Nova was clearly well behind the driver in front, so that swift move like that wouldn't affect the driver in-front.
Some also argued this was a "diving" action because Nova was behind the front car at corner's turning initiation point. When I saw the replay, I can clearly see that Nova was in full control of his speed, the relative speed between the cars at the corner's start is less than 5 Km/h and even if the driver in front supposedly closed the door, he could have braked more avoiding any major collision.
I say this is a legit overtake! Pretty impressive one too! Nicely done Nova
