as the title suggests, ive not played since s2 but i used to love the game. strayed away from racing games for years but got me a htc vive a few weeks ago and like playing project cars.
always love the custom skins and custom car tuning etc on this as well as the community.
after coming back to it i see s3 is out.
is it worth upgrading now? or play s2 for a while again to get back into it?

i asked this a while ago but my post just got flamed for some reason.......
im going, but pretty much to only see, machine head chimaira, ill nino, devil driver and kill switch engage.

they completly cocked up the stage times tho.
2004 was the best year/line up, 2005 was decent 2006 sucked this year is even worse:'(

ive said its never about the car its about the driver! and if that is last years time attack then its quite possibly the roadster version of the mr2 which only has 220bhp and its pretty naff....
how can you tell me what i have and havent beaten or driven around the track? i think you no we're right when we say scoobys suck thats why you so devensive

i agree with you, having driven scooby's, mr2's and renault meganes on track days, i even managed to been a honda nsx round donnigton, ANY 4wd car doesnt belong on the road imo...

i also said its not always about the car its about the driver, if i can find that vid i was talking about ill post it and yes a supra would beat an mr2 both stock down drag etc but not always true on a like tsukba

i no a few people who run the low 11's high 10s with mr2s.
scooby's are just as laggy as evos, and they rev very badley not to mention the turning circle.
theres a vid on youtube of a race around the tsukaba circuit in japan, in the race there is:
mr2 turbo rev 4
scooby sti
supra
rx7
mx5
evo 8
and a bmw m3

the mr2 comes first, followed by the supra, then the rx7, then the evo 8, then the scooby sti and the bmw m3 finishes last.
all the cars are stock, its never about the car its ALWAYS about the driver.

i hate arrogent people like urself, ur mate owned an import company and had an mr2.... wow, my dad has the richard burns replica scooby and out of that and my mr2 id pic the 2 any day the scooby is too boring to drive, and if u cant drive an mr2 on the limit then ur a crap driver... and if u need 4wd to keep u safe then well that says it all really.

and yes 0-60 in 4 seconds a cheap rwd car....

basically ive had s2 for around a month now. i race every day for 2 or 3 hours mainly on the CTRA servers.
ive just looked through the "teams" section on this forum but most of them are drift teams id like to join a team in which i can be tought lines for tracks with decent setups etc.
i race anything on any track and im a clean racer.
i can design skins and websites as im pretty handy in photoshop
any1 out there interested pm me or something?

my used to import jap cars, he brought in a MR2 turbo, it was crap

the ferrari body kits are ugly. yeah.
and 200kgs is quite alot in a car, so crap speed as standard its 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with less then a grand u can get that to just over 4 seconds. crap handling?? in the yet yes but in the dry its fantastic. ive seen mr2's beat lamo's, ferraris, scoobys and evos.
let me guess u love good old honda civics also n all the crap like that.
for under £5000 an mr2 is the best performace car you can get

the new mk3 roadsters a little crap yes but the mk2's are fantastic

i have a dfp, but i use 720 and i use the shifter sucks that i dont have a clutch tho....
i love racing like this because its much more fun....

i think i have more 2nd places then 3rd and first but that will do for me atleast i no i earned it properly. i dont see why some body would spend £200 on a wheel only to use it in the same manner as a £20 wheel.... and how can people play a race sim with a mouse and keybored. u wouldnt play an army sim with a steering wheel...

also as u said mid engine cars usually have better handling then people may think, people thing becuase they have a wieght sitribution of lets say 62rear 38 front ( my mr2) they think its gone huge oversteer problems.... but nope they stick to the road like glue!
and as for the hair dressers car.... i no more hair dressers who drive things such as bmw's although i no 1 who drives a 350z but hes a real great chap

and a 300zx twin turbo is 360 bhp well my friends is as standard. u need a jap car if u want realiability AND performance, those crazy japs no what thier doing.

as far as i no its the lotus exige with the mr2 engine
it has the 1.8 turbo engine from the mk3 roadsters

nice car, although raced a few in my mr2 and not lost yet gotta love jap cars but i suppose for an english car its ok

y does everybody work on the exterior first..... ive laways worked on the engine first.
i would much rather have a car that looks like a pile of crap but goes like Sh!t of a shovel, then when the engine is running sweet just work on the exterior. much more fun racing and beating people when ur car looks pathetic in comparrison to thiers, quite embarrasing for them 2

i use 620 for cars with 720 and i use the real rotation for the fox and bf1 etc
