LFS is good with its ability to run on almost all PCs and physics, though it's going to die fast if it takes (literally) decades for vehicles to come out and the maps are tiny.
I just really would love to have the wide open world of ATS in LFS. Why? It would be great for street races, would give an opportunity to raise the maximum on-track cars at once big-time, and would be amazing for cruising. Plus, the gaming community is really lacking a realistic driving games with the focus on CARS and with a large world at the same time.
For setups with intake restriction, the cars should shift at the appropriate RPM (based on how much throttle the set is limited to) when in automatic mode. It's kind of annoying to let go of the gas button then press the shift button then the gas again for this.
Yes but the road markings on the maps are unchangeable and they're facing forward on either the right or left side. And on blackwood they're on the left side.
I think the new Blackwood is amazing, but I do have a suggestion for the tracks you are improving next. Can you make half of them RHD and the other half LHD? After all, the majority of the world drives on the right side.
That's good that it's planned for release, but I hope it doesn't take 25 years to come out like a new update with a few minor bug fixes and minor new features.
I think it would be great if we could make our own tracks or cruising maps for LFS. We could even make open world cruising environments for cruising servers, so we're not just confined to a small track. LFS would be so much more fun with this addition and we would get to have open worlds and realistic physics.
LFS is getting boring without an open world map. Please make this happen, someone! Then it would be "The Online Open World Racing Simulator". I'm sure there's very, VERY few games that offer that.
The UF1s engine seems quite small for a 4 cylinder engine, and many cars like it have 3 cylinder engines. Also it would make the UF1 more desirable being the only 3 cylinder car in LFS.
