Hello I want to customize lets say colorize turn markers, tables with meters to turns... In South City it is easy just by editing CTYmarkers2.dds.
But if i'm editing BLWmarkers1_ALP.dds for Blackwood track I can change only color of numbers, 50, 100, 150, 200 and even if I change backround of markers - in game it is still the same - like in original.
Can anybody say where is the problem?
EDIT> so i find reason... in dds file is one field for backround and it is same for all turn makers, so u can in this file colorize only digits - distance 50, 100, 150 etc with one colour of backround. I dont know why it is not like in South City where u can colorize all each trun marker...
Hello, i'm back into LFS after several years. I'm thinking that i used some grafik pack for improving track looks and mainly i had there coloured table sign before turns, like 150 was with yellow backround, 100 was with red backround or something like that.
Now i'm wondering if exist something like that, aplicable on last version of LFS. I mean only this coloured sign before turns will be enough for me.
Edit> ok now I find that I have to edit *markers*.dds files to colorize turn markers. It don't work for now, but how to properly save it with alfa layer - i hope that others help me in other part of this forum.
How about some new class? How about 3 new historic cars which will be equal each other? I think it will be great change to drive 50 years old race cars.
One racer use some skin named for example xyz. In second race he add to that skin some new graphic and leave that same name xyz. But we don't see his new skin even he uploaded it properly at LFS world, because we had old dss in computers.
So is it possible in future making date control of downloaded skins (skins used of racers at servers) between LFS World and local LFS clients?
Now if i want to avoid this situation I have to rename new skin - and than I’m sure that others players will download new one (in case that they have previous skin in dss files)
In real life, real race driver can get information about engine, clutch, transmisions, tires by radio from team, team engineers. In LFS you are alone behind computer and u can preset these informations at screen.
If u want simulation as u write u have to think about sumulation of all team members and crew at the pit wall. And if u ask for information thru radio team have to answer.... GOOD LUCK with creating this system, u will need it!!!!
Great program, but i have one problem. I try to use Virtual speedo and ShiftBip. Other features i turn off. But i don't hear any sound when shift light was turn on. In cfg file i have: EnableShiftBip = true
Edit: I try it again. and in offline game i hear sound when shift light is turn on but it don't work when i'm online at some server....
And another question: I use 7-segment display with shift led conectect to computer by LPT port. It use OutGauge signals. Is there some way to use LFSRelax base on InSim and my 7-segment base on OutGauge. In CFG u have: EnableOutGauge = true

Have anybody idea when will be deleted hotlaps from lfsworld? Now we have handicaps for TBO and GTR cars in online game but at the website there is still hotlaps without handicaps?
Or plan is only delete hotlaps chart from FXO,XRT and FZR, XRR cars?
