anybody?

So I've been away from LFS for at least a year. I had all my old files backed up and am reloading all of them into a fresh install.

When I get to my BOV sounds, it says they are too long and or too large. WHat is the size requirement? Also, one of my BOV sounds that does work seems to loop over and over rather than just playing once.

Please help me get my old BOV soundpack working again!

normally on a factory car.. the rev limiter is 500-1000 RPM Past the red line....

It really ticks me to have the new limiters right AT the red line...

I have a DFP with button assignments set for things like (F9) with button 4 and F10 with button 5.

However for some reason while these work in the test area, they dont work in LFS.

In LFS if I go into "controls" and press button 4. it shows that button 4 is depressed... therefore if those keys work shouldnt the profiler be picking it up?

how do you record them yourself? I might as well just go take a sound clip of my own BOV and make it work

that one is REALLY close but I need something deeper... like a solid rush of air that is deep

Date of first LFS race (approx if you don't remember) 4-18-2007

Racing frequency (10 or fewer races per week, 10-20 races per week, 20+ races per week) : Right now I drive approx 3-4hrs / Day, mixed between CTRA servers and Live to Cruise (I like to Zen out with the LX6 and some trance music to relax after work). If I were doing nothing but races I'd suppose I was doing 20+ races/week

Normal race times (morning/day, evening, weekend). M-T = 10PM - 2AM, F = 6PM - Whenever. Saturday & Sunday : Anytime racing isnt on TV. Sometimes i'm out of town but I log a lot of seat time in LFS each day.

Wow! I cant wait to get back in the game! Been playing on the "cruise" servers too often!!! It'll be good to get back in the old XRT and trade paint with ya'll again!

Does this mod exist anymore? I cant seem to find it on Becky's page and the link in her last thread dosent work.

just checking up on this message... anyone else have anything better? I want my rear view bound to one key. the other buttons on my wheel have other things to do..

I have the driver on the left hand side, and when i "look backwards" using the hotkey, all i can see is my seat.. however if I have my seat on the right side of the car, i can see just fine.. is there any way to change this? that would be a great fix for north american users if it was automatic when you changed the driver position!

Yes it worked! I realized that Browse for speed when set to "S2" cannot find S1 only servers. Seeing that 1A and 2A are S1.. i couldnt see them. Problem solved!

Do you have the IP? I'm still not able to see it on Browse for Speed and its been a few hrs now.

I can see both of the 2b and 1b servers but none of the A servers. I wanna race my XRG and XFG? Are these down right now?

Hello LFS people!

Just a little Background.

Been autocrossing for around 8 years.
Some IT class enduros at sebring and homestead as a co-driver.
College debt + marriage = less money

I got LFS to tide myself over.

So far I've had some pretty good battles on various servers but I haven't yet found a server to "frequent". Does anyone have any reccomendations for people on Eastern Standard Time? I live in SE Florida if there are any regional groups.

I'm just interested in some pick up races for now to get used to the physics model and the "flow" of the game. Maybe in the future I'll be interested in some league action but I dont want to make newbie mistakes in a league and ruin my name.

Anyway... Let me know what ya'll think!
