Quote from shiny_red_cobra :I honestly have never looked at my wheel when racing. Everything happens too quickly and there is no time to look down at the wheel then back up at the screen. If I do that, my race is probably over. Besides, all games have rpm and speed gauges, so what's the point of buying a $120 accessory which doesn't give my any new information? I suppoes some die hard fanatics might want this cause it looks like a real race car gauge...but it's not for the casual racer.

Exactly.

In my opinion, it does look a little basic and cheap, for that price.

Yeah fair enough. It is a racing sim afterall. Was just curious.

ALOT of my mates use it as a platform for drifting (as you would probably know), and would be great to have a dedicated drift car, with some decent power

But again, I understand its a racing sim so it probably wont happen.
Patch for more steering lock?

Im not sure if this has already been done...

I notice on the faster 'super' cars they dont have as much lock as the XR GT Turbo. The XR GT has 36 degrees of lock and it makes it a good car to slide, where the faster super cars only have 24 degrees which is far from enough to hold decent angle.

Can anyone make a patch so all/most cars have 36 degrees? I cant see it a big problem to make.

Heres my Toyota Aristo....

Mods are
- Blitz exhaust (full system)
- Pod
- Coilovers.

So pretty basic stuff. Its putting out around 290hp at the rear wheels. When I get my front mount, and up the boost, ill have closer to 400hp. Then Once the turbo's blow (not wishing, but if they do), ill go for a single turbo conversion and push around 480-500hp at the wheels. Anyone else with an Aristo (also known as a Lexus GS300)????

2JZ ftw!!
