This is my third Volvo, A 1998 C70. Quite a list of modifications.

I've had my Momo for I think 4 years. I've only had 1 problem with it, involving the pedals losing calibration like mad. So I opened them up, Cleaned it out as best i could, also fixed one of the springs not setting right, and closed it back up, 2 years later and I haven't calibrated it nor noticed a SINGLE misalignment.

Isn't it possible to just check their username, go to the forums, and see what Version they have? Sorry I'm not a Code writer, so I have no idea if what I said even makes sense.

Check your Logitech profiler, it could be conflicting with the in-game options.

Also, some of the race cars are sequential only, like the FXR (May not be the right prefix, its the racing FXO).

I use a very old Logitech wingman force3d as a shifter. It works great, and when I use a Race Car, it automatically switches me to my Wheels shifter.

Well here I'll give a hypothetical example.

You're in first place. The last corner is coming up, and you have raced perfectly clean. You start focusing on not messing up. You take the corner, but while moving to the inside, another very focused driver is right there. both drivers unknowingly collide, leaving both out of the race. Yeah, the driver moving inside "Should" have known there was a car, but same goes for the other driver, he should have been Defensive and seen this coming.

Not entirely true. when a head gasket is blown, masses of white smoke will come out of the exhaust.

Why a 740?

I would love my 850 T5's sound for LFS, but 5cyl's are almost impossible to imitate in LFS.

Accidents have happened, and will happen, to everyone, period.

A few weeks ago, I took a corner a bit wide, and nailed a guy on the outside of me. I immediately apologized, because it was 100% my fault. No blaming/kicking/banning happened.

It's not the lack of driver intellegence that causes accidents like Enzo's, usually the driver is focused on the racing line, and just doesn't realize his surroundings. This is called Tunnel Vision.

Was it LFS that had/has a Car spotter add on? if so that would be good to have if you don't focus on cars around you.

What aggravates me the most in racing games, is the lack of selfless players.
If you crash into someone, or vise versa, an apology and maybe a few laughs about how awesome the crash was would be a mutual forgiving. Who cares if they fall out of a race? Its just fun.

To sum this massive post up. I love to play Live For Speed, I enjoy racing online to the fullest. I'm usually avoiding serious competitions because some racers can be very tense and content on winning, not having fun. FYI, I like to win races, but its the actual racing that fills my requirements.

Try turning down Car, helmet, and whatever texture resolutions you can find.

I have never actually had problems with performance with LFS, seems that the game is suited well to many computers.

Check background programs as the culprit.

I always forget to stop scans from virus/spyware programs, and will suddenly get a sudden lag spike, sometimes messing my whole race up.

Programs to turn off (IMO)

Messenger programs
Virus/Spyware programs (or just make sure they don't start a scan)
Internet programs (not always a problem)
Music programs (could possibly lag occasionally)
Apple software updates (they love to minimize my games)
OS updates

Hope that helps. When I turn off laggy programs, I get a very noticeable increase in FPS and Smoothness.

Just a bump. Also hit 110mph in my car today, and it sounded so sweet. turbo blazing, engine growling..... Haha I'm to caught up in this want for the soundpack.

I could make videos for it, I guess ill wait until someone can confirm that they can make it.

Yes it is for the FXO. I know there is probably other volvo sounds lurking around, but they are probably either for race versions, or lower end models. The T-5 just has this sound that no other car like it has.

I know this was requested a very long time ago, but it isn't exactly what I'm asking.

Alright, so, I love the sound of the Volvo 850 T-5. I was wondering if anyone could make a sound based on it, whether it be new sound files completely, or an engine file. I own an 850 T-5, so if someone needs sounds I CAN supply.
