Like the arms and steering wheel move ridiculously quickly,not at a normal speed that wouldnt rip someones shoulder off

Okay cool thank you i figured all that out but somehow i broke it, first the right trigger wouldn't fully accelerate unless i pulled the left stick back aswell and now it wont accelerate at all after i tried to fix that and i cant find a default button. ugh

The game recongises that I am using the xbone controller but it refuses to acknowledge that the triggers are buttons. i cant map them to the acceleration and braking functions, what is happening?
