Mine started doing this just after i installed AVG 9.0 have you recently updated it???????????????

Had the same problem (very annoying) deleted it and re-installed it everthing seems to be OK now

I dont get the "crack" put it always stutters for a split second when someone leaves/enters the pit.
I have had LFS since the begining of time and it has onlly just started happening
