thats awsome, I really hope you can come up with something..... You might want to try and get a hold of the other person that was making the slickmod, im sure he would be able to point you in the proper direction.

i really hope someone comes out with this mod again, it was really good on the older versions of lfs.... fun to play around with.....

well before you get totally flamed out by most of the other users i will help you out a bit. I think that all of the power adding mods are for poeple who buy the game only. you are a demo user and most of the mods have a liscense protection on them, so you need to pay for the game before you can use the "mod"

once you pay for the game you will be able to play around with all the tools that are made for the game...

just ran a 5.81 with the bf1.... I dont think i can get much better then that... i cross the finish line doing 600kmh..... the only thing holding me back is the first 7/8 of the track and not having any tracking till the last 1/8..

the tire pressure mod would be great, but just because you can lower the tire pressure does not mean it will help you out much more either... you have to consider that the tires in this game were designed to have air in them, and lowering the pressure too much would result in driving with a flat tire..

drag cars use a tire that is mostly composed of rubber... not much space for air at all in those tires....

just something to think about.... a tire size mod would help ammensly as well...

if your fastest time is with patch Z, then ya I ran a 6.7 something.....

but the mod sounds really good, and I hope someone will take the time to figure somethign out... the biggest problem is tyring to get enough traction in the game. Once you start getting up in the HP the tires just do nothing but spin.

I have a s2 liscense and want to unlock this older vertion of the game. I know its old but its the only one that makanik will work on. I dont want to go and crack the game, i want to do this the right way... so does anyone have any suggestions?

btw, you cant unlock this game the proper way because its no longer supported. I had it unlocked on my pc, but have since formatted.

you should be able to get around it by finding a port that has not been blocked off yet..... i know this probably does not help, but i dont really have access to your network so i cant really tell what is open or closed.

even if the PC is formatted, as soon as they register the pc with another OS ( as long as its win xp or newer ) you should be able to find out where your computer is, well at least microsoft will know. Your pc stores all the S/N with microsoft... i dont know if you have ever replaced anything large in the pc such as the mother bord or the processor, but as soon as you do you are prompted to re activate your computer. Microsoft has a huge database that associates the numbers in yoru computer with the product code that you had registered to the computer.

If i was you i would just call microsoft and inform them that the computer has been stolen.

All that being said, if they install a non microsoft OS or they just never use the computer online, well then you will never find it....

actually maybe keeping the password the same might be a good thing.... if someone trys to use your lfs account, would that not long an IP address somewhere? it might give you a good chance to find out where your computer is at.... just a thought though.

ok I know that their have been a few topics created for this app over and over again, however i still cant seem to get this app to work. I have alraedy configured the isrm config file properly and when I run the app it will tell me that its connected.

however when i run lfs, start a new multiplayer game, add the proper password , port # then start the game it will work, but as soon as i type /insim 29000 or whatever port im using i just get a message that says bind error.... what is this? I dont understand what i am doing wrong... does anyone have a step by step for this?

also what vertions of lfs will this work on? could that be the problem. also i am running vista ultimate 64 bit....

i did that too, it does not matter in wich order i start things, I still get the same error.....

ok i need some help here.
i setup the config file the way it was explained here, start lfs, then go back and run the mod, it says that the connection was successfull.
when I go back into lfs and type /insim 31000 it says " bind faild " what causes this?

I am trying to run it on a local game..... I started a new network game and followed everyting as mentioned in the other pages...

any ideas?

ok this might be out of line here and if so I appologize in advance... but if everyone keeps asking for a tweek all the time, why would the developers not just make it? Its something that 99% of all lfs players seem to enjoy playing around with and makes the game a little more fun when your playing offline... so why not just make it?

I could see why you would want to remove those address's , but at the same time, if someone has the knowhow and knoledge to actually do something with those addresse's , dont you think that they would eventually be able to find the address's on their own anyways?

if you are running windows vista, I think all you have to do is move your mouse curser over the tweek running on the task bar, just hold it their for a few seconds and you should see that message dissapear.

wow love the setup, I was so going to try and pull something like that off... I was even looking into the outgages but could not find anything until now, but that seems to be a bit pricy just to make some gauges work, hopefully someone like logitech will get their butts in gear and make something a little more cost efficiant for the average gamer.

I have a g25 and a 57" lcd that I use as a computer monitor, so I have a good base to start with, but what you have in your pic was far better then anythign i was even thinking about .... good work man, looks crazy.

i know that, but even when i spectate and watch them race, they are still hitting higher speeds then I am. I can watch the race leader constantly be in front so he is not bennifiting from any draft at all and still run those times.

Setup is everything in this game, well almost everything, you still have to be able to drive.
