I'd also thought about my peddle not having the full effect.

Checked calibration, adjusted, sure enough, white cap appeared.

perhaps I'm just not quick enough but all the AI cars leave me on the straights.

Please somebody else try this.

I've tried that. Using the "racing line", slipstreaming cars etc.
JUST enough fuel. Unlocking the diff. completely.

The others just drive away from me.

My car simply can't be made quick enough.

Can somebody give this track / car combo a go and see how they get on?

Fully updated, patched etc.

I'm racing a "FOX" round KYOTO RING OVAL
to try various combinations of setups to try and establish
what is best for me.

I'm reasonably quick but......

With downforce set at "zero", car near the ground tyres slightly harder,
gearing standard, up or down, If I set off at the rear of say 6 cars on the grid and never take my foot off full throttle,

The 3 cars in the lead very slowly drive away from me......

This is on "Quick" setting not "Pro" .

The question...... Is it actually poosible to win this race?

Please bear with me, I'll try to make this brief.

Joined a nearly empty server.
Driving LX6.
Many happy laps improving my times.
Load of BMW Saubers join.
Within 30 seconds, with no collisions at all, players vote to ban me. (presumably, they wanted a one make race with no slower cars).
I left quickly.

Firstly: What am I banned from?

Second: I've looked through all my menu options etc. but cant find out where the "vote to ban" section is.
What did these people press?

Third: If I am on a server and there is a vote to ban a wrecker, can I / how do I vote?

The wood grain WAS a 5 minute job.
Googled "woodgrain" then stuck it in as a new layer.

The metal Patchwork was blocks of different grays.
Outlined in black.
Smudged the lines then......
Copied, pasted & moved Hundreds of rivets.

I've only been playing NFS for a few weeks and these
are some of my first attempts.

Plenty of time to improve though!

More practise needed!

Nice bit of Mahogany that is !

Hi everybody.

I play LFS using "bumper" view. ie. I can't see my car.

I cannot seem to get this view from a LX6 when playing on line.
It is fine in single player mode.

Can you only have the "in car" view in the LX6 online with
windscreen, clocks, bonnet etc.

I've got rid of the original install and

Made a new folder and unzipped everything into that.
All components are in the same place now.

Basic Stupid Error I Made.

A folder called "data" has appeared in a place I wasn't expecting.

It contains the "skins" folder.

All there is, is just a 792KB exe file.

No Folders within it.

Hi Everybody.
New to this so I'll try my best to explain.

I've made a couple of skins for a car.
Works fine in the game.
I'd like a good print of it so I was going to take a screen shot
using the LFS viewer.

I've downloaded the viewer but the only skins I can see are the ones that came in it.

How do I import MY skin into the viewer so I can take a screen shot please?

Sorry to be thick, as I said, I'm a bit new to this.

Is this normal or do I have to "enable" something in the browser?
I was hoping I could just scroll down the page and see the finished cars,

I only got the game 2 days ago and wanted to "have a go".
I found this site and downloaded the skinning doodah.
Now I've had the time to compare it with other people's efforts,
I'll try harder.
