karts are similar to F1 cars, but you cant practice driving with such g-forces but most importantly F1 cars have special wings to help create downforce, where the air pushes the car into the ground making it far more difficuilt to drive.
F1 cars are not just about the tyres gripping but also having the wind pushing it down, and this is why only the best drivers can drive them fast! Go-karts are good for practicing stamina, racecraft, overtaking and fitness etc but you cannot possibly practice driving with heavy g-forces and mostly importantly the downforce that helps the car to grip in the fast corners.
Paying £12 for one car and one track would be a pure rip off, almost surpassing the levels of iracing which is a horrific price for what it is.
But from what i can see Rockingham and one more car coming (not the Scirocco) being S3 is pure speculation.
I havent seen any of the creators stateing or hinting that S3 will consist of one car and one track along with a physics update... i may be wrong..
but it would be nice to have a few more updates on the development process as it progresses, updates every four months is not fair on us the customers imo... many people on this forum spend hours on LFS and are dedicated to making it a success (through leagues etc) the commitment we show LFS and its creators is outstanding.. so a few more updates would be good
The idea is that all drivers of all abilities can enter the championship. Two prelimary rounds will help decides the drivers that enter the actual championship, this way novice drivers can experience the thrill of racing in a league whilst competitive drivers can still race against the best as they battle their way through to later rounds.
I have enclosed all information in a word document including how to reply if you are interested. Any comments and feedback would be welcome and hopefully if enough drivers are interested the series can be ran.
Please note nothing is set in stone and its all provisional including the championships name, so please all suggestions are very welcome

Lewis Hamilton is far better than any other driver in Formula One. He is ridiculously good.
First year of GP2.. winner
First year of Formula One.. beats team mate (well almost :P 109 points a peice) and this is Fernando Alonso were talking about the man who gave Michael Schumacher good battles on numerous occasions
Massa is good but Alonso is better, and if Massa is better than Raikkonen i think Raikkonen moving to McLaren is going to damage his reputation.
I simply cannot see Raikkonen finishing next year with more points than Hamilton. Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso are the best drivers in Formula One no doubt with Kubica, Sutil, Massa and Rosberg not far behind.
There will be three finals A, B. The B final will be ran with 10 drivers BUT the two drivers at the back of the B final grid will not score anymore than they would if they were in the C final.
The finals are 8 laps in length and the heats are 2 laps in length.
I would like a subsection for the Novice Touring Car Championship. We have recently had round one and it was a success.
The races start at 19:00 GMT and finish around 21:00pm. Each driver gets 3 heats and a final.
Schedule as follows.
Date Round 28 July Blackwood GP 4 August Blackwood RallyX 25 August South City Sprint 1 1 September Fern Bay Club 8 September Kyoto Ring Oval 22 September Westhill 29 September Aston Club
Drivers may only join the server for their race, this helps to prevent lag.
After heat 12 all drivers will leave the server and the grids for the finals will be decided. Drivers will all join the server together at 20:20 GMT to find out what final they will be entering.
Drivers not racing must leave the server. When the round is finished results will be posted immediatly onto the website.
ANY DRIVERS NOT STICKING TO THE RULES OF THE NTCC WILL BE BANNED FROM THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
You can only use one type of car for the whole competition, i would rather drivers read the regulations rather than me having to spoon feed them to you!
