Quote from S3ANPukekoh3 :EDIT:Also, there haven't been any new test patches for a while, so maybe they did give up??

Nope.. they havent

And one other thing that I'd like to mention.. everybody is saying, that "oh.. WVS still has bugs"; " it's still being developed.." etc. Maybe it's not the scirocco.. there might be lots of other things delaying the realease.
Im waiting WVS as much as everybody else though.

You could ofcourse use the LFSWorld. Before exiting the pits, write down the numbers (mileage, fuel burnt) and then again after the "race"

I used this one:

Final drive ratio 3.8
1st - 3.2
2nd - 2.1
3rd - 1.347
4th - 0.981
5th - 0.78

If you would like to make it more Ricer(ish), then you should change the final drive to more like 4 or 4.1 i think.

I just did some testing/calculation with XRT. Gear ratios were normal (like you would encounter in real life) 5th. 100kmh-2500rpm, 200kmh-5000rpm

First I took it around KY oval. Did 5 laps around it at 90-100kmh. I got ~4l/100km ,MPG: 70(UK/Canada), 59(US)

Then On KY oval again, but at 200kmh constantly (more throttle on the slopes, less on downhill). ~15.5l/100km, MPG: 18.2(UK/Canada), 15.2(US)

And finally, whipping the car around Fern Bay Black (2 laps full throttle, including few burnouts). ~29l/100km, MPG 9.7(UK/Canada), 8.1 (US)

PS: I used this to convert the units into gallons http://www.euronet.nl/users/grantm/frans/fuel.html

There was a chart/pic long time ago where there were most of the cars fuel consumptions. I tried to find it but i failed

PS2: This info might not be 100% correct

+1 @ overhanging trees
I like this BL, but the old one had the style or something, it just looked nice

Old vs new

Added another layout, Nerves of Steel. To clock a good time, you need more than just 10 runs

Well, here are some times
XRT 1.12.16
FXO 1.12.36
RB4 1.12.45

I bet all these can be improved a little

FZ5 may not fit there, as its made for TBO.

Hello everyone.
K&R Layouts (Kirill & Ryan Layouts) started making layouts a month ago. We were bored of racing so we thought adding a few cones would make this game more interesting. And it did

We have already done 4 layouts, which will be up here in a few days. Some of them are fun and fast, others on the other hand, are slow and tricky. Well, I'll be updating the first post as more layouts come.

No. Just increase or decrease it till you get the amount of HP you want.
Need FZR drafting set

Title says it all. I need a VERY fast FZR set thats is capable of doing over 312kmh, on oval ofcourse.
We have tried but 312kmh seems to be the top. Changing gear ratios, R2-R4 Slicks, no downforce and drafting behind a Formel.
Any other suggestions?
I heard that R4 are faster than R2s, is that right?

I found out that G was unusable because of Xfire G was one of the letter to take screenshot.

About the crashing. Dont know either what to do. At the moment its fine. Hope it wont happen again

Thank you.
Crashing and letter G missing

First. Game crashes. You get the server list, go back (can choose demo, S1, S2) its OK, Press BACk button and LFS crashes. Ctrl alt del doesnt work every time. So far i have noticed it happens randomly.

2nd. Letter G is missing. I have it for first few minutes if i start the game. After a while, nothing happens if I talk and press G. It wont appear. Neither does Shift+G work (Auto/manual).

They both started to appear, when I customised a wheel for XRT, then it didnt work on online and I practically overwrote the whole LFS. And now I installed a new LFS in a whole new folder. game still crashes and G is missing (with new LFS too).

Anyone else has this problem? I dont think there is an easy solution, is there?

Quote from wheel4hummer :Locked wheels do not stop you faster then rolling ones. Try your experiment without locking the tires. Wider tires are more grippy, and therefore more difficult to lockup. This allows you to apply greater braking pressure without locking the wheels.

Locked wheels so it would be equal when it slides. Perhaps in real life locked 265-s wide stop you faster than 195-s (With ABS for an example). Dont know about that exactly.
The fact is, wider tires should stop faster, even if locked (like in the little test I did).

Well, I did some braking tests with LFSTweak few weeks ago. Like few cm wide and like half a meter wide tires. Full braking power = locked wheels and there was no difference at all

Quote from M.Mos :US models suck

They always have, sorry

I dont think M3' ceiling is any different than eg. 325i Coupe's. Only that M3's ceiling might be coloured black.

Quote from Mr.Phonso :Yes, yes, it is coming together

Amazing work you have done
But there are some differences compared to the real dashboard
This one is 325ixT's dash, but I googled, and it should me the same as M3
