Guess the site got hammered, it's down for me.

Haven't played LFS for awhile and was just dropping by, didn't know so many of you guys played iRacing. I just can't go back to LFS and GTR now. I don't have much time for sim racing anymore and the quality of the online racing and superb tracks and cars is perfect for me. Maybe I've raced with some of you? I've mainly been racing the Skippy series this season, go by the name Patrick Spence.

I went out today and was going to get a new vid card but decided it was probably better to just upgrade pc. I ended up building, p4 3.5ghz w/ 4gb ddr2 800 ram. Vid card sucks, 6600 nvidia card that I will upgrade soon as I get some more money. Haven't tried running LFS yet with new pc but will soon, hopefully made some difference.

I was looking for a good tutorial to get the most out of LFS with a decent pc setup. When I get a full grid of cars my FPS goes to hell, but if its under like 6 cars its fine. I've been thinking of getting a new videocard, do you think that will make a big difference?

With a demo looming around the corner, I'm starting to get very excited about Forza 2. Its being released 29th of this month, already picked up my 360 wheel and pedals. Anyone here looking forward to this one also? Gamertags?

Everytime Im racing (especially rally) my wheel over time gets more and more cockeyed. I dont get in any wrecks and my wheel doesnt match up with the wheel in the cockpit. I have to go to pits every couple of laps and recal my wheel. Any fixes??
