It could be the "common" monitor buzzing issue which only some people can hear... and is usually related to a fault in production resulting in a faulty ground wire and/or the use of the power unit inside the monitor. Sometimes the "buzzing" can be solved by increasing the brightness on the display and then using NVIDIA Control Panel/ Windows to reduce the brightness instead.
For example, one of my monitors makes this buzzing sound when I drop the brightness to 70% whilst the other doesn't (exact same models). Easy solution, leave monitors on 100% brightness and reduce the brightness through software (Nvidia Control Panel).
The Price between 22" and 24" is a fairly large jump (at least locally for me it is...)
But the jump between 19" and 22" viewing size is enormous!
I just recently upgraded from 19" to 22" (2x LG L226WTQ-BF, 2ms, 5000:1, S Panel) and what a difference it makes! 1680x1050 res and much larger viewing space then the 19".
Have a look at the LG model I bought, it sells for a rather good price (picked mine up for ~$380AUD) whilst 24" models such as the Samsung (which is a very good display) fetch nearly double the 22" price!
G0 step seems to run cool (stock that is). I'm going to be upgrading my fan later (not planning on o/cing yet, but to keep the pc quiet, atm the loudest parts of my pc are the CPU fan and GFX fan. That said... the overall sound is actually very quiet, hard to hear unless you are really listening!)
I just built this pc recently to play COD4 (and obviously LFS), but after blowing my budget by nearly 4x, its turned into my main machine (rather then my laptop)
Good Point srdsprinter, never thought of it that way.
Was a bit confused about the XRT being removed from the demo version as it was the main car to use but I guess this also works against it...
Overall I personally have had no issues so far with the new patch and can't find any negative issues to whinge about!
