Okay, I've started work on a design for a skinning site I want to open. I am looking for anyone who wants to help create it, preferrably in the department of money as I have none to purchase anything :P I can code and design. As I said I've started on a design so I've attached it.

I doesn't act link a hyperlink. It's a current page highlight. Won't be posting on here again about anything I'm good at. Everyone is just jealous :S

I am looking to work on a LFS related site. Hopefully in the areas of Skins and so on. I have been developing websites for 5 years now and have clients such as Mitsubishi and Sulake. I particularlly like design so that's why I'm interested in skinning sites as I love a good looking skin.

If anyone wants to open a skinning site or already has a site that needs someone who is experienced in design and coding (xHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript) then drop me a line. Either PM me or email me on [email protected]. Also, if you own a vBulletin forum then I can definitly help as I am very skilled in modifying vBulletin to work as an entire site.

Okay, I've now uploaded two skins both in the LX4 folder. Both show on the LFS World site, allowing me to view and delete them. However, when I enter the game and go to the pits to change my skin they aren't there.

I've tried creating a new colour and changing texture and still not there. I've basically tried everything I can think of and everything I have read on this forum.

Anyone got any clue why this is happening?

This has been bugging me big style and it needs some way of sorting out. I find myself being banned easily for silly things such as hitting someone on the leaving of a corner and getting banned within seconds for just being an competitive racer. Where as in the next server there will be a 10 year old ramming everyone and ruining the race but because of how the banning system is done it takes a good 15 - 20 minutes to ban him or her.

So it needs to be corrected. In many games they don't set an amount of votes needed to ban that person. What they do is run the vote and however many people vote that's the total. Say 5 people voted, if 3 said yes and 2 said no that person would then be banned - or vice versa. I find this much more successful in getting rid of the idiots in games. As people don't have to participate in the vote if they don't wish to. This wouldn't stop the silly bans but it would help stop the frustration that these idiots cause on a daily basis.

Right, I was thinking about this after being in a 10 lap race. I had lap times a few seconds slower than the top 3. When I asked what they used to steer their cars, they all said Gaming Wheel. So what I thought was if there were a server or two which you could only enter if you had a certain kind of equipment.

Meaning if you used a mouse, you could get into the mouse server/host but you couldn't if you were using wheel or keyboard. Makes it fair on us who use different methods.

I'm not sure how it would work, but just a suggestion.

I think it's the best due to the fact it is only made by a small team of people. Means they don't lose that flare the average person has in driving. Everyone knows the best cars in the world are hand built by a handfull of people. Such as the Atom from the small company called Ariel who only have SEVEN employees! Now a days people want that almost hand crafted feel and usually it's a greater experience and more detailed. So I think that's why LFS has become one of the best.
