thought it would be more realistic if brake fading was implemented. it would certainly make longer races more interesting!

Quote from spankmeyer :It's not about being right, it's about going faster.

It is but both foot over the brake and accelerator..im probably the only one who finds it wrong.

Ive just noticed a lot of people use their left feet as brake and cluch-which is awkward, it just isnt right. My right foot is only for brake and accelerate while left is for the clutch.

Im afraid i have to disagree with parts upgrading..this is a racing simulator, theres no such thing as upgrading parts IRL races, just tuning here and there. I think its nice enough as it is.

Quote from Stuff :Save the layout to your (LFS folder)\data\layout folder..
Open up LFS then go to the layout's track (BL3/carpark)
If the layout wasn't automagically loaded or anything, press shift+U to bring up the menu
In the lower right you should see some buttons to load the layout. If not try pressing space to toggle the UI.
Drive

Ive tried the above but no menu seems to popup when i press shift+U and theres no toggle buttons on the bottom right...

Its quite easy to do yourself. just get some initial D wallpaper from online or something and replace the original background pictures in the "X:\LFS\data\pic" with the initial d ones.

I even have ingame Initial D songs running in the background when my LFS starts and for the radio

Quote from Jamexing :This thread is like an annoying cockroach that absolutely refuses to die.

Anyway, the last thing we need is an artificial speed up button to make a mockery of proper racing. NOS would be OK if it's LFS: Drag Racing, but not circuit racing, especially on the more technical circuits where the less skilled and silly drivers could easily turn races into DEMOLITION DERBYS.

Absoloutely true! if you want a nos mod that bdaly make one yourself. Nos spoils the point of circuit racing. Also who was the fool that mentioned big spoilers as ricers. spoilers are HIGHLY UBER DUBER useful in trackdays for greater downforce.

another wierd thing is that the clutch on the FBO seems to get worse as it gets warmer!? F1 cars and endurance race cars tend to go for a clutch that performances better when warmer (i.e not so well in the cold)

Ive just discovered that many people are drag racing in this game. the problem is i have no idea how its done.

Players would line up in a line then a random number is said and everyone would just go ahortly after. how does everyone know when to go?
