Try drifting in real life on a set of Hoosier R6's like the Solstice has in iRacing, it doesn't work. Race tires snap and are hard to catch in a slide. It's the same as trying to drift one of the GTR's in LFS, very very difficult.
I can't wait to try out the new model. I haven't run LFS in a long while. This is a very anticipated update for me!
I just sent a PM to the admin there who manages our server to see if we had the Z3 patch. Looks like that is the one with the OOS fix. Not sure if we have it or not.
I still participate with that server. We've been having problems ever since this latest patch was released. The only way we were able to get on track anymore was to keep a physical connection signed on to that server. I'm not sure what the deal is exactly, shouldn't be a hard fix for the devs.
The only fix weve found on our autox server is leaving a person signed into the room. That seems to solve it. But I wish there would be a patch already to address this issue.
Guys I am gonna be getting out of sim racing here for a while, good old work and the real race car will be taking priority. I have a very lightly used G25 that I can do for $250 shipping in the US. If any of you are interested shoot me a PM.
Edit: also this,
Gaming and Multimedia Computer System
Ok so I just put this system together for myself, killer killer system but I should have put that money into the race car for next year. So my loss is now your gain. I took between 15 and 20 percent off what the parts are new. Let me know guys, I'll work with ya' on this.
Asking price is $1139 but am more then willing to work with any of you guys. Just get in touch with me please.
So anyway easiest way to get in touch with my is AOL and Yahoo IM. My screen name is adamkob32. E-mail is [email protected] and my cell number is (570) 205-1842. Please leave voice mail if I can't answer.

Yea just like stated about once I start up LFS and enter my first race I'll have to turn the wheel lock to lock and depress all the pedals. After that everything is calibrated and set to go.
That's alright, my civic is pre-vtec anyway so no v-tach powwahh for me lol. Thankfully so too as after the 2006 season it will be getting a supercharger, and some stickier tires and I'll move up to the Street Mod class.
Actually the exhaust is not very extreme at all. No huge tip. Everything was done with the consideration of saving weight.
None of those videos are of me racing. The only incar and out of car ones I have are the ones from my Saturn. You can check out one of my videos here, let me know what you think
Well guys, finally it has happened. I have just purchased my new dedicated autocross / play car. It is a 1991 Civic Si, maxed to the SCCA STS Class rules. I drove it this past weekend for the first time at an autocross in Hershey, PA and what a blast it was (picture below). That was enough to convince me that this is the car I want.
It has a freshly rebuilt engine with only 3,000 miles, and the suspension setup is just awesome. Just figured I would let guys know. Link below is a page compiled by the previous owner, and lists all modifications and more pictures and videos.
Hey have you raced on the new Azenis RT-615's yet? They are much better then the RT-215's as far as disappating heat. I made the switch at the beginning of the season. I've been running them at every autocross event this year.
If you come out with a tire for the 615's that would be great. I can get you some very detailed pictures if you need.
