i currently have vista 32bit running LFS s2 (latest patch) with a logitech momo racing.

Every time I start the game, switch windows (away from LFS) or switch to windowed mode my wheel seems to loose calibration and/or initialisation.

The effect is the wheel goes crazy until I re-calibrate. As soon as I do any of the above away it goes again....

Ive tried with and without Logitech profiler (v5.02).

Where does LFS store calibration / initialisation information, is it in the reqistry or has anyone experienced the same issue?

Next step for me is to re-run the LFS installer....

edit: reinstalled LFS and I now only have to recalibrate once when the game starts, much better than before...

heres the final...when the actual skin is a bit tidier I will upload to finished skins..

just need to make some small tweaks like the renault logo next to driver is clashing with the built in LFS S2 logo...not sure how to remove this on FO8 skin....other than that it's pretty close.

not sure if this topic is covered in another thread, but here goes...

i wanted to start a skin thread on 70s and 80s F1 cars, especially turbo and ground effect.

The attached is my first go at skinning. all the logos and fonts have been updated so its an "interpretation" of the original... its the renault RS01 (first turbo F1 car http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_RS01 for those of you interested).

any thoughts feedback criticism appreciated.

first time poster, short term racer (i.e. n00b)....

i want to preview skins using the "Live for Speed CMX VIEWER" and understand that you can paste jpgs into the data/skins dir. that isnt working for me and was wondering is there another way to preview skins without placing jpg in /lfs/data/skins and running the main game app.
