First of all, you know that I'd never wreck anyone on purpose. I would never ever ever do that. My back locked up and twitched because of our diff. I had to correct it to be safe, I didn't know that Maddee was there on the outside. If I did slide I would've hit you even harder.
Secondly none of the hits we had were intentional, the first one was because Maddee just closed the door on me (in my opinion) while we were on the apex. The second we both outbraked ourselfs and went wide. Maddee spun already and I, sadly, went wide aswell and accidentally hit him. There was no intention what so ever, Mirro you should know that because you know me too well. The thrid one was because first of all Maddee didn't leave me enough room and sadly the lag made it worse.
Well, this being said I want to end the discussion. Lets just act like true sportmen, shake hands and walk away from it. There was no intention from my side, period.
Well there are some batches (of both the G25 and G27) that are just not up to standard which causes them to breakdown very fast or just wears quicker. I do think that Logitech has less of a quality standard compared to, for example, Fanatec. But they still make, in my oppinion, good wheels.
When my G25 pedals got issues I concidered buying Fanatec Clubsports, but after informing with Logitech I went for a brand new G27 (which is stepping up quality wise from a G25). I hope the wheel I have now will live just as long as my 1st G25, but if it won't I'll probably be going to a full Fanatec Clubsport set.
I'd just like to advice everyone who doesn't want to spend more money to write an e-mail to the logitech support because they will mostlikely provide you with a new one, which is ofcourse cheaper than stepping up to Fanatec or ECCI even.
My G25 started doing that. I just wrote a msg to the logitech support explaining the problem, they replied within 2 days and about 3 days after the reply, and filling out the small form and providing some evidence that the wheel is actually yours and sitting at your home, I got a new G27 delivered at my front door completely free of charge . I'd try that if I were you .
I'm now on my 4th wheel. The first one (G25) cost €150,- second hand, second one (G25) free, third (G27 / lived 3 weeks) free and now this one (G27) free. Mind you, the first wheel was 3 years old and they still provided me a replacement wheel. Just after my third wheel broke down they arranged a free pickup via UPS to bring my 2 wheels which were sitting at home to their factory for further investigation. The first one I had to sent to them before I got the replacement G25 and provide the evidence of sending the package to them in a msg to the support. Just goes to show how great the logitech support really is !
Definately, had great fun as it was my first ever 24h race. Really enjoyed it! Did good stints, sadly due to some badluck with traffic, lag and drivers we weren't able to finish any higher.
Better luck next year . We'll definately be driving again next year !
Session of Incident: Race
Lap AND Timecode of Incident: lap 3 in game 4:06
Your Car number: 27
Other car(s) involved: 02
Brief description of incident: On the main straight 02 catches up to 27, 02 hits 27 on the left rear without any signs of evading and makes 27 lose control and hit the barriers on the right hand side of the track hard.
Thanks for all the kind support in your posts, really appreciate it!
My race started bad, had oversteer that was so unlike the set... So was tweaking the arbs almost every straight to get the balance right but it just wasn't happening for me in the early fase of the race. Than as Joku passed me just before the quick right hander I got stuck in his draft, lifted off and plain understeered into the gravel. I made sure I didn't get any susp damage and tried to get back on with the race as safely as I could, getting back 15th. I fought my way back only to get rammed off in the same corner by someone with a name I don't remember... Decided to pit with 28 laps to go, a distance that the setup was designed to last, hoping for a sc. Luckilly I didn't lose a lap by than so I had some hopes still. Untill I got at a Vires guy who decided to go into the corner 100m too early and hit my front end, got sideways and went sideways into the barriers of T1 had massive damage and had to pit.
It was just awefull, I had high hopes to be up there fighting with you guys, but sadly it wasn't my day.
Thanks for the great championship and to be perfectly honest, I didn't expect to be fighting for the championship. I'm pleasantly surprised about my pace in the single seaters aswell and I have great hopes for the upcomming races.
Thank you all for the amazing season. I really appreciate every lap racing with you guys! You're the best!
Just wondering , after I did some maths I came to the conclusion that Jarl and myself have equal points in the Oval Challenge after the last oval round. So, how will the winner of the Oval Challenge be determined between us? Best finishing position?
Ahhh I'm finally less mind****ed of going around in true circles so now I can finally write a decent report!
Qually was pretty much perfect for me, right behind Jarl on the 2nd row. And when we started going the cooperation was great again! We did really nice laptimes and I must say, 1 switch on the main straight was definately quicker ! I really enjoyed all of it and it was really satisfying to see that we were able to pull such a gab again. After lap 75ish I was doubting wether or not to pit because my fuel was getting awefully low at that point. Luckilly for me the SC came out and went in as soon as I could. Than I made the decision to not switch the tires. I knew they could handle 170 laps easilly, but this can ofcourse always change during racing conditions. I came back on track in 1st position. Which was great ofcourse! Restart was great but somehow the group I was in was way slower than the group behind us. Than in T1 they overtook us and after looking right and in my mirrors I decided to get closer to the apron to get the draft from Jarl. Sadly someone was in my blindspot, there was no way to see him. We touched, I went completely sideways. I still don't know how i was able to get the car back on track, I just did . I fell back to 7th and had to get to the front again. I was able to slowly get back to the front and when I was back in 3rd I was sleeping quite often so I lost draft from Jurvansuu and Iivonen. Luckyily Joe was my saviour! He did a great job drafting and we were able to catch up wwith the leaders really quickly, the ultimate thanks was ofcourse to give him his lap back, which happenend so I was really happy for him aswell as myself! In the final stages I just tried to stick with the leaders and stay out of trouble, but out of no where I saw the crazy brit also known as Simon Cattel pop up in my mirrors and catch my draft (where the heck did he come from:schwitz. After a crash from Iivonen and Jurvansuu Simon and I were the ones to fight it out. He won with some smart driving, but the most important for me was the lead in the drivers and team championship which we were able to regain!
Thank you all for this great last oval race of the season and I'm looking forward to the title decider in 2 weeks!

I just want to say that I found that the entire top IneX crew had a good pace. Simon was quick of the back and was able to pull quite a gab, Isaac flew passed me and Phil was able to attack & stick behind me. Ofcourse I had a bigger fuel load, and yes that might've been a wrong decision by me but still I was impressed for sure. I had to push allot to hold the gap at a consistant level.
I had great fun during the initial 38 laps pushing like hell and trying out my alternative strategy. When I came back 5th after my pitstop I had no clue weather or not the guys in front of me had to stop again, so I had to be on top of my game the entire race.
Phil, I had an awesome battle with you and had great fun trying to hold you back and push myself to go quicker and quicker. Big respect for you man for the great sportsmanship.
I know that I'm still quite a rookie when it comes to league racing and I have no where near as much experience as you guys have in league racing or with this car, but I'm pushing myself to learn and learn and learn. Every race I drive gives me more understanding how the physics work and how to take my advantage out of them. I do feel like I'm improving with every race and getting such results only gives me bigger satisfaction and motivation for the upcomming races.
Ones again thanks for the guys who stayed clean troughout the entire race. Lot's of respect and I hope to battle with you the next race I'll be driving in!
